I'd been thinking about this too... Well, I think it depends on a guy. Every guy differs, and I think to give a special gift is depending on what his hobbies and interests are.. Take for an example, if your husband loves to go fishing, then you might want to get him a fishing rod, or something about fishing. But you know sometimes, it's okay being adventurous and sexy once in awhile.. Or fun! Like turn the table, let's try giving sexy gifts to our and see what their reactions are.. I'd say a nice sexy boxer would be nice. Or better yet, be all dolled up for him and go for dinner out or something for Valentines. He'd sure going to love it. I hope that helps..

YOU! lol
but seriously...he'll probably be happy with it. do something that HE likes but never really gets all the time?
well it's always a suggestion, since we're talking about men here.
but their right. it does depend on the person and of course their take on valentines. my husband doesn't care all to much so its not like he's expecting anything. most men think of it as a holiday for the girls so again, they really don't expect anything.
if you man likes clothes, then get him some clothes. if he likes candy then get him some candy. you don't even need to get him anything, maybe making a romantic dinner of things he likes (and for desert YOU!)...well, that's always the safe choice in a marriage..hehe

all presents really depend on what this person likes. perhaps think about what you have given him for birthdays and go for something similar? a valentine's day present does not have to be really really romantic. in fact i think a lot of people would prefer something that showed you understood their interests.
