Are you going to buy the iPad? If so, why? WHat will you be using it for?
I think it will be a great alternative to the APple Tv I was planning to buy, now i can just have the iPad on my lap to watch videos on instead of my macbook pro.
The UK pricing hasn't been announced yet and i know they are gonna try to rip us off buy setting the price at £399 instead of the £308 it should be by the currency converter. ANy other uk users here?

Not going to buy it, not for 200 euros/pounds not for 100. It's a piece of junk. There is an alternative available called p88, it's available in Asia or so the press says and has a better processor, USB ports and other stuff. Furthermore the trademark Ipad is already registed by Fujitsu so don't be surprised when they suddenly name it Ishit or Iscat, or Icrap.

I think that it is going to be overpriced and i think that the 2nd revision will be much better, it is going to be overpriced though...was expected $999 though so $499 was a shock

Yeah, you are absolutely right. They will say that they couldn't add any more features but that now they can as prices have been reduced. I think it will be shipped with OS 4.0 though as the 60 days will probably be for testing in house and they didn't want to reveal too much at the press event...
