Do you like Alexander McQueen?

I'm not really a fashion buff or one for designers, but I do love fashion.
I don't know if anyone else [on mylot] has heard of Alexander McQueen, but his stuff really caught my attention- the clothes and shoes he designs are very unique, modern and bold.
An example of his style can be seen in the picture I uploaded with this discussion. Lady Gaga wore one of those pairs in the Bad Romance video. I think she also wears quite a few of Alexander McQueen's items, too.
I really love modern artistic styles (as opposed to natural or bohemian styles)- and I am loving Alexander McQueen.

first, rest in peace, Alexander McQueen.the fashion world will not be the same without you.I am not really a huge Alexander McQueen fan.I like some of his designs,some I find mediocre,while some I find over-the-top.I do salute him for his creativity and his out-of-the-box thinking.hopefully whoever will take over his brand is talented enough to keep the brand's fans.

I love Alexander McQueen.... I love how unique and rock-and-roll a lot of the pieces are, and I have been dying to get my hands on a couple of pieces. Can't find any around where I live, but I would completely rock them...

I am not much for fashion either, I am in more for the comfort and those shoes do not look comfortable at all to me.
I could see Lady Gaga wearing a pair of shoes like that for her videos just because she goes for the "out of nowhere thrill" I just can;t imagine that being very comfortable on the feet or back.
I just saw a new parody video for Lady Gaga this afternoon, it was pretty funny and sang about her unique style.

Oh I saw that particular shoes that Lady Gaga wore on her "Bad Romace" video. I find it cool and pretty outrageous. haha!

I looove him, and I think he was truly one of the great designers of modern time. Such an artist, such a visionary and his memory will really stay alive for a long time. He will become a fashion legend and icon like many of the great designers (Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and so on).
