To update or not to update. how often do you update your facebook status?

I update it every chance I get. Especially when I'm waiting for my food to be ready at cafeworld. Or if my plants need harvesting on my Island Paradise. Plus even before facebook, I really love blogging. Because I hate it when people ask me what I'm doing. So I tell them to just check my blog. And since most people are logged into facebook. It's much easier to let them know what i'm up to there.

I update facebook a time or two a day. If I'm having a boring day or can't come up with something to say, I use status shuffle. I can get hung up for quite some time on that, because they have so many to choose from! You can choose from a wide variety of say "Monday" posts. Check it out, and let us know what you think!

I update my Facebook status at least once a month or not at all. I have "better" things to do than just "Facebook".

Well I try to update my status at least once a week or everytime I so something that is funny an interesting and I know that it'll be commented by my friends. When I don't have anything smarter to say or write then i don't do it cause I hate people who write the lyrics of a song or update their estatus with something incredibly dreary only looking for pity out of the others

I probably update my status once a week, since I'm not on that much and there really isn't much to do except for the applications which I do not have time for and communicating with friends. I update it weekly though to make sure other people I don't see everyday don't forget me. =)

I've never updated my status on facebook. I don't really see the point. I mean, I do understand if people want to share something of importance in their lives, but for the everyday little things, like what they had for breakfast, seems kind of unnecessary to share with the whole world (or in this case everyone on their friends list). I haven't seen that happen in a while, but still. Updating just to update with something like that seems rather pointless to me. And as I have nothing to update about I'd rather not update at all. hello apples! well just like you, i don't bother much updating my status on facebook. i just don't feel like broadcasting anything to all my friends there...haha i am always on facebook, yes but only because i am checking my games there...haha and no more. very seldom do i comment to my friend's status, but sometimes i do send private messages to them..i think some things are better talked in private. anyway, the last time i remember updating my status there is last new year...haha just sending my greetings to all! but i do add some new pics just recently...

Hmmm. I usually just update when I have high emotions, like really happy, or really sad, or really angry. I don't usually just post because I want people to know that this is what I'm doing. hehehe. I'm not vain enough to think that people would care what I would be having for lunch. LOL.

not often i use my facebook account so i am not updated with facebook cause im not really like a facebook even if there is a lot of people who loves facebook.

I only just have written 1 update in my facebook account since I joined this site 3 months ago. Even I always login but I am not interesting to update my status in my account. I just cek my message or chat with my online friend.

I also felt that update my status was not too important to be known by people. Sometimes can harm us personal. For example, theft had occured in someone's home, the thieve knew that her house was empty from her status on facebook. she went to spend holiday.... More than that, more fun to update here

Hi apples =) Great question. I rarely update my facebook status. Usually when I just feel like it or when I'm on facebook mobile. I just don't like updating my status on facebook.. I enjoy updating my status on Twitter more.. I don't know why, but there's something about twitter that is not on facebook. I'm loving twitter more.. probably it's because of the comments features of facebook.. sometimes i don't like it when my status is being commented at.. while on twitter no matter how lame my stat updates are people can comment anytime they want and my status update is not that exposed unlike in Facebook wherein one status update and all your online friends will see it ;( i want a little privacy. I don't know if it's just me, but I just lost interest in Facebook even if i'm only a few months old in that site. take care apples and God bless.

I don't update my facebook status regularly. why? because i've got nothing to share with my family and friends. plus, i am quite busy with my part time work which is blogging... i am also busy fixing our new flat. there's so much to do... the last time i have updated my facebook status was a week ago.

I update my facebook status once a week by just putting new shout out, replacing my profile photo, making new link on my blog or any money making sites which i just join recently hoping i could get referrals and my friends could join them as well. I also make new friends, add new ones on my listing, add new application games and some are invitation from my friends. I also have a lot of notification which I need to read or either delete since it just clog my facebook. Then, i still have to read my inbox and delete some private messaging from unwanted messages. I use facebook primarily to build my networks and still have to invite friends. Just like in the recently promotion from paypal wishlist it helps a lot to have friends, some manage to sign up and thus help in my earning. So facebook for me is both important if one need to have many contacts buiding friendship and networking at the same time.

I don't even bother logging into facebook much these days. Got a bit sick of being bombarded with flowers and fish and requests to join all the crappy Facebook apps. As a result it must be atleast 2 months since I updated my status.

I update my status every day even when i want to pour heart or just want to state that althought i now sometimes not every interest to someone else :) Facebook can sometimes can be story of love at...Update status can sometimes be a duty that must be done every day for some people :)
