I was talking to a friend about haiti and he said someting that really put me in a strange situation... HAITI... I mean they had this VOODOO thing and war and crime and many many unspeakable things for decades... and suddenly EARTHQUAKE!! He asked me Why Dominican Republic wasn´t harmed if its right next to it?
Do you think its Karma?

yes i do believe in karma but i don't think that has anything to do with earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, tornados, etc...occurring at any one place. they are just natural phenomena and can occur anywhere.

But why Dominican Republic wasnt affected? i mean the poorest country in america and they still get an earthquake? cmon! there must be doing something bad and i think is voodoo and sacrificies and that stuff!

the epicenter of the quake was much nearer to haiti so only haiti was affected. had it been say nearer to dominican republic also, then they'd probably have been affected. i really don't believe in voodoo and all those stuffs. if you really believe then that's your opinion. i was just giving mine.
