If you eat sandwiches do you cut the crust off or eat it with it on? I do not like the crust on my snadwiches. However, it is weird becuase I feel bad when I cut it off and throw it away. The problem is fue to the fact that when I was a kid my mother pounded it in our heads that we had to eat everything on our plate. I think a sandwich is ruined if the crust is left on and this is why I probably don't eat them much. So, what do you do?

I'm the same as you; I don't like eating the crusty part of a sandwich but feel guilty about wasting food if I throw it away. My mother was always onto me about wasting food when I was little so now it's built in that I would feel naturally guilty about. So now when I eat sandwiches I can't cut of the crust. However, I'll eat the crust first and then enjoy my sandwich later Works out find.

Hello. Thanks for such a great response. I am happy to see that others do the same things as me. I also eat the crust first, and then enjoy the sandwich. I just can't get my mother's warnings out of my head long enough to throw away the crust. If I eat the crust there is no guilt and I can enjoy a sandwich without dreading the awful crust.
