As for me, I prefer to pay in cash when i went to shopping. When we pay in cash we don't have any debt to worry and it's nice to shop if you have money on your wallet. On the other hand, credit cards can make our mind go round and round thinking on how are we going to pay our debts. Some people just can't control themselves using credit card every time they shop especially when they see the item that they like.
So,are you going to use credit cards or just pay in cash? What do you think?

I always carry my credit card with me and prefer paying with a card. I know it is not advisable using credit card all the time as most of the time i end up spending more that i should. Because the card is with me i buy things in haste sometimes and repent later for excessive spending. whenever I get my credit card bill ,I take a resolution to keep the card at home but yet to be firm on my decision.

Hi cycle 6060, I guess its a really trouble. I meant its hard to have a huge debts isn't it? The problem their is you can't control yourself in spending when you use credit card. We should learn how and what to spend, just the necessary things that we need and not to the extent of excessive spending. Take care

I go for CASH! Since I have no credit card yet and as of the moment, I have no plan of getting one, I still prefer to pay cash. The point is if you have a credit card you tend to shop more since you don't have to pay for them instantly. However as you shop more and more, you can't notice how much debt you need to pay until you received your bills from your credit card agency/bank. The good thing for cash is that as soon as you paid the items, then that's it,they're all yours, no worries about the bills :)

I usually use credit card when I went shopping. I don't like to bring too much cash in the wallet. It's convenient in paying by Credit card. I never let my credit card account out of control, so I didn't worry about how to pay my debts.

That's nice to hear that your in control with your credit card. If you don't want to bring much money in your wallet, you can as well use the debit cards. All you need to do is to deposit your money to the bank and if you want something to buy, it will automatically debit your account without worries of paying a bill. As you've said your in control and you have nothing to worries that would be better than losing control in spending. thank you and take care coralin.

I have been quite disciplined so far with my expenses.I almost always use cash or my debit card while shopping. That way I live eithin my means if I can say that.Of course I do use credit cards but very very rarely.I do not want to get into a credit cycle and be a ower to anyone!

I prefer paying in cash.I know my spending habits.having a credit card makes you think you have a lot of money,so you tend to spend and spend.I would rather discipline myself and use cash.with cash, when you don't have any amount in hand, you will see no reason to spend.I recently got a bonus, and while I am so tempted to shop,I will open a passbook account for my savings.I would like to save now so in the future,I have some money I can use for emergency needs.

same as you, i prefer to pay in cash. actually i have never used credit card before, partly because i think it's troublesome and partly because it is not necessary for me. having seen other friends' answers, i find most of us use debit cards. i agree with you, although i haven't used before. i believe using debit cards is better than using credit cards and more convenient than paying in cash.

It is always good to pay in cash because why to pay extra taxes of the bank. We can utilize the money that we give for taxes to do some more shoppings...

I pay with cash as well. Honestly, I don't have any credit cards at the moment. I've applied for one just for the sack of having one but I haven't heard back from the company yet. I rather pay by cash anyway. I agree it is easier to stay out of debt when you uses credit cards less frequently or even not at all.

I have credit card before but i cut my line because of the debts. If they grant the credit card that your applying, you will pay for the membership fee yearly. If they didn't call you maybe your application was not approve. Credit card is just headache but sometimes it will help if you don't have money anymore. It's nice if we just save our money to the bank.

Hi bwegirl!
I prefer to use a debit card rather than credit card in shopping. When you use a debit card you will only use the money available for you to spend. I'm already paying a lot of bills so a credit card bill will just add up to my worries. Besides, if I need to buy something like a cellphone or appliances I can use my Savings Bank account. Credit card is just for emergency use. You should learn to control your self from overspending because if not you might end up unable to pay your debts.

Paying with cash is always the best to do. It's easier to because paying with cash you know how much you spent and you can keep count of it. From what I have heard of credit cards makes me not like them because it is not good to use credit cards your personal information can accidently be leaked which is not good. When you use cash it is way better and easier.
