It's winter in China now. The most middle and northern part of our country are very cold. Every year, I can enjoy the snowfall and have a snowball fight in my hometown, a city in the middle of China.
However, I haven't seen the snow from the winter until now this year. Because I am working in a southern city and I will go home in 9th, Feb. So I don't know whether I can see the snow this winter.
My friends, do you have seen the snow? It's so white and nice. So beautiful.
Edelweiss, edelweiss, bless my homeland forever~~~~~

Hi Cherry
I like snow. They are fine, white, and nice to look at when they fall. I have seen snow but only on television. I kind of envy you because you are experiencing the beauty, texture, and coldness of snow. Here in our country, snow is one of the symbols of Christmas. The snowman, christmas tree from a snow covered mountain, and things associated with snows are like christmas to us. There is a poetic side in seeing a snowfall. Aside from the beautiful site, one gets a feeling of relaxation when seeing snow falling on a snow covered field. I wish that someday or in the very near future, I would actually experience seeing snow, touching it, and feeling it's soft and fine texture. I want to do this in your country, China. China is near to us and I am sure that it would be a very pleasant experience to spend winter in your country.
See you soon.
Regards

I do like to watch the snow come falling down. We get snow here around every other year. It makes me feel like I am in a snowglobe watching all those huge flakes of snow come down. It does get really frustrating if there is too much of it because it will just compact and turn into ice and make it harder to walk and move around in.

I mainly hate snow. I grew up in NYC/New Jersey, so we got around a foot of snow a month, and I was the one to clean it all. Really didn't have enough time to do my own thing. Really sick of seeing it to be honest with you.

Yes, in northern China, Beijing, Harbin, Inner Mongolia and etc. there are heavy snowfall in winter. My hometown is in the middle of China. We can see light snow every year. Some provinces or cities, because of climate, don't have snowfall. The people there never see the snow if they don't proceed northward

Where I used to live I got snow most winters. One time I got stuck in my house because of deep snow and I couldn't get to work for two days. My boss was really cross but there wasn't anything I could do. The landscape looked so very pretty like the snowflakes falling on the white ground. This winter it snowed where I live now. People are not used to snow here and it caused some transport problems. I like to see snow and one year I saw lots of it in Austria plus Switzerland. It was all white and frosty. The air was really cold. Wow!

Yes, it will be very cold if it snows, especially after snowing. There is a huge icedamage in the beginning of 2008. And our province has been hit by this damage. I did my part-time job in a supermarket far away from my house. I could not find a taxi or bus to take in those mornings. I was very depressed then. But in most of time, there is not so heavy snow in my hometown and we can enjoy the snowfall as much as ours likes.O(n_n)O~

I love snow when it's winter. A winter without snow is like a pool without water. This year the winter is especially good. We have snow all over our country and it has been very cold for like two months already. It's a perfect winter this year, I couldn't dream of any better one.
