What made me write this discussion was after watching the movie the 4th Kind if anyone here have seen it and yeah the story was about UFO abductions. After watching the movie I started to browse youtube about UFO and saw some videos similar what I saw last November 1 2008. What I saw in youtube was that 4 red bright lights form formations either square or trapezoid. That is what I saw during November 1 that night. I don't know if you have seen these they are real. If only I have my cam that night to capture it. It was fascinating! They scattered around and formed shapes and lastly they disappeared one by one for about half an hour. Believe or not I did saw them and they weren't flares. Has anyone here encountered the same thing I did?

I have watched something in discovery channel once. The footage was captured by a satellite camera. The said satellite acts as primary defense of the earth from big meteors falling to earth. It shoots down meteors as it reach the outer layer of the earth and in that actual footage it aimed for seemingly big chunk of meteor falling to Earth but then it missed because the so called meteor avoided it's laser and just backed away as if Earth has no gravity at all

First of all, when you say UFO it's not really automatically synonymous to Aliens. UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object so basically if you had seen something flying in the sky that you cannot recognize or identify it's an UFO. The reason why it is somewhat relates to Aliens is that people assume that all natural flying things and man made are known, which is mostly true.
By my experience I can say I have seen UFO in the sky because it did not behave like an airplane and more or less it did not behave like a helicopter. Have you seen a bird or any natural flying thing with lights that never blinks and shines like a star but flying in freely in the sky with no pattern whatsoever that you cannot really predict where that thing is going then suddenly vanished without a trace. If someone could explain to me what I have seen then maybe I'll not believe in UFO's

Yeah, i guess you're pretty correct with the use of the terminology. It's just that terms do acquire additional meanings as time passes by. That's what happens when a language is alive--unlike Latin--meanings evolve.

I have never encountered a UFO and to be honest I always mock people who think that they have.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and my personal opinion is that they don't actually exist.
My fiance once told me that he had seen one but I don't actually believe it and I think that some people just see what they want to see.

If I saw something then perhaps I would believe it and then be one of those people trying to convince others but to be honest I am very cynical and I am sure that I would be able to find something else that would explain it, something logical.

That is so amazing! You've had once in a lifetime experience to encounter aliens, it's rare. LOL. I know it is not 100% sure aliens, but if that's what you saw, it's amazing! I've always believed in aliens since I was a kid. I mean, come on, this universe is so vaaaast that I am sure we are not the only living creatures here. It's just so interesting that you have had an "encounter" with a UFO, though I'm not really sure if it's actually a UFO.

I do believe in the existence of UFO's but I dont think they are like the one's we see on Tv who's got big black eyes, antennae's, green and speaks in a different language. I think there also other things out there sionce the universe is really wide. My idea is that they are there, and maybe they are also like us.

I believe there are lots of videos about UFO on youtube as well. I think they are fascinating, but I wouldn't want to board their spaceships ever, LOL. I think they are uniquely around, and perhaps in another dimension that we do not know. They are creatures or forms on another planet that we cannot see with the naked eye. But when they make an appearance, and someone is able to see it, maybe it's a rare chance. Especially when on the sky, with blinking lights and everything. Another living object from another planet, for sure.

No, I haven't yet encountered an UFO in my life but seen a movie in which a UFO occurs on planet earth by some communication through scientists and the alien in it gives some magical powers to a human. I hope something like that kinda happen as it will make life a little more exciting than the normal routine work!!

There are extraterrestrial beings. Its just a matter of when we will be able to see them. Throughout this vast universe, there has to be more than one planet thats capable of hosting complex life.

I would believe only when i see.
Apart from GOD,WIND,HEAT... UFO is something that is tangible and if they exist and they show up so many times to so many people why in the god's name are they hiding.
Well i am not saying that they do not exist. There may be... but i am yet to see one.

maybe there's a life on other space/planet. we never know whats beyond this universe or other planets. and if there is one, maybe they still dont have much technology to travel between far planets and universe. we never know what God made. as of now, i dont believe, if ive seen one personally i would. im not closing myself to other possibilities..

I believe in it too. but actually haven't seen any. lol ^_^ I just believe that it's not only US who lives in this universe. There could be something or someone that lives outside our planet.
What I'm thinking and confused is why do that UFOs fly around here? what's the purpose? lol I think they envy our tech. hahahaha ^_^

Well yes I mean the universe is so big we haven't been able to go far to see what else is living out there. I think that aliens can be out there on a far away planet just living undisturbed. Well UFO sightings sometimes people see what they want to see an illusion to your eye. People many times mistake UFOS for other objects like balloons helicopters or other things.

I have never seen a ufo myself but I do know people that I am close to who have. They are credible and I believe them. I definitely believe in ufos and extraterrestrial life. Too many people have seen things they can't explain. They can't all be lying. Flying saucers are even in very old works of art. How do you explain that? We live in a seemingly infinite Universe, it seems very arrogant to me to believe we're the only life forms in it. I look at humanity and how barbaric we still are with all our wars and racism and apathy and think there has got to be more advanced civilizations than the human race.

I have never seen UFO but i believe if there is another entity except human who live in this universe. This universe is so big, so i think there is always possibility for that. And there is many thing that doesn't make sense in this world, like crop circle. I think its impossible for normal human to make something like crop circle. And there are many artifacts, like battery that was found in the dessert in middle east (if i'm not wrong), and the archaeologist said the age of the battery is more than thousand years. And our civilization is not that advanced in thousand years ago. So who else if its not alien who made the battery.

of course i think there are aliens out there. Although ive never seen them before, they most probably do exist not only because of the vast amount of evidence towards them being real but because this universe is so large and there are so many planets like ours out there that it would be stupid to think otherwise. scientists say there are 500 billion galaxies out there and in each galaxy there are anywhere from 200 to 400 billion stars and each of those stars have an average of 7 to 9 planets orbiting it. and we can only see a fraction of the universe because our telescopes are not strong enough to see further - in other words there are much more galaxies out there that we cant see. Not only that but most scientists agree that there are alternate dimensions and even more universes which in turn have more galaxies, stars, and planets.
