Does animals have tears? I haven't seen any animals who cry and there's tears falling from their eyes. Hmmm, they make noise when they are sad but haven't seen one cry. What do you think?

I have too many pets, but it wasn't really by my choice. I do love each of them tho. I don't know about tears falling. But I do know that my 3 dogs make different expressions on their faces. I can tell when my little chihuaha is upset. She looks like her eyes are welled up with tears, and her taco ears are down.

~ hi, again! I think they cry, but maybe they are not crying like us- with tears, but I think they do. only because they are animals(not reasonable, becaues we are also animals, but most of us reasonable :) ) I don't think they can't or not cry!~

Have you ever seen turtles lay eggs? I have seen documentaries on TV that when these giant turtles lay their eggs, they actually have tears rolling down from their eyes. I am not sure whether I saw it correctly. If they really cry, could it be the pain? Or the thought that they have to leave their babies once they are done with the laying? Also, there was once when I visited a friend in a small village in China. There was this elderly woman who lived a few doors away, and was about to slaughter a chicken. I have never seen how a chicken was slaughtered. Out of curiosity, I went to take a closer look. The chicken was not only clucking loudly, wings flapping wildly, but also shedding tears, as if pleading the woman to spare its life. I felt so sorry for it that I prayed for it.
