Sad to say but it's gonna be a tough job to discipline and train your dog for do's and donts at its age. I'm a rottweiler breeder and from my experience this dogs should be trained as early as possible and they should be socialized from time to time. Using prongs collar will greatly help you in training the dog for basic obedience. Trust me buddy, its proven.

Just like little kids you will need to "puppy proof" your home. Be sure that all of your shoes are put away in a closet so that your dog can not get at them. Remote switches and stuff be sure to put in a hight place.
If you leave your dog alone for long periods of time, this may be his/her way of rebelling against you being gone. Be sure to give him lots of chew toys, give a treat before you leave the house then upon returning check that everything is all right and praise your dog. If this isnt' enough, then it would be a good idea to see about a companion for your dog to have.
Good Luck!

Hide important things your dog rottweiler can reach. We also have a dog like yours he's almost a year older but still his habit of biting our things doesnt change. So my dad brought him a toy that he can bite anytime. We also scolded him and spunk him everytime he destroy something.
