Do you own a firearm and do you think everyone should have one ?

I know this is a hotly debated topic with many persons having their own view as to whether everyone should have their own guns.People who are for it list the high crime rate and larceny as some of the reasons why people should have their own means of protection.On the other many think that having a weapon serves as a lure for criminals and renders the firearm holder incapable of seeking a non viloent resolution for arguments.
What are your views on this issue?

Yes I do and I know how to use it. Why....it makes me feel safer along with my alarm system.

I have several fire alarms scattered all around the house, on every floor. I think it is very important because you just never know what might happen in the future. They are so cheap and have such incredible life-saving potential that you'd be stupid NOT to have AT LEAST one in the house
