today, i was talking with a friend of my sister about the 14th febrary, here, with the common name day "St. Valentine", and she left me thinking about this day, specially when you are single, this day not has a lot of significate in myself. my sister and her friend told me that they wanted to spend this day with friends going to have a picnic or something else, and sounds great!
how do you usually spend this day? with your boy/girlfriend, your couple, or alone?
have a nice day!

My best friend was born on the 14th of February and we pretty much celebrate her birthday. However, now she is dating my best friend and we are going to celebrate her birthday and then maybe St.Valentine's. My 2 other best friends also have boyfriends and I just dumped a guy after 1 day :D So I think I am going to celebrate a traditional Bulgarian holiday with my family instead of ruining everyone Else's st valentine's day.

I would be with my wife alone sharing together our past experiences both good ones and ugly ones.

I would usually spend it with my friend except last year with my girlfriend. However this year would be different as she broke up with me recently and this year 14th February would fall on the Lunar year celebration, that would save me from a lonely celebration.

I don't have a boyfriend so I'll probably be spending it alone..Unless I get one in the next.. 16 days or however far away V-day is. . Very very doubtful. I don't mind it though. I'm thinking that Valentines Day is overrated, but then again, I never WAS the hopeless romantic type..

Valentine's day, still I'm single! I'm spending this day with friends, but not on the 14th. I remember last year, me and my brother's kids spend this day paper cutting of hearts. My niece is learning how to use the scissor. Then they put sweet notes for grandma and grandpa, for dad and mom. I send text love messages to friends and close relatives. This year, I don't know. maybe do the same thing again. I just wish I could have my own Valentine if not for this year, then maybe next year. There's still hope for that. God bless you and happy weekend!

me on that day i will spend my time for doing online to make money, instead of going to mall or eat on the restaurant with a girl.

We don't do anything special. For us, it's just another day - we go to work and we come home. We might try to have a nice dinner together, but we usually try to have dinner together.

I'll probably be working. Beyond getting a little something for my grandchildren, I won't be celebrating it. Even when I was married I did not like this holiday. If my husband treated me decent all year then I'd be ok with it if he just forgot it. My husband was abusive. If he remembered that day...it was because he was feeling guilty. He wasn't one to remember things like that as a rule. I really don't like the holiday much. We should all show our loved ones how much we care all year long. There shouldn't have to be a day dedicated to this. I think it is cool when you are a little kid. Making the valentines and decorating the boxes was so much fun. After I got out of grade school, I just thought it was a holiday to make people feel pressured into buying flowers, candy etc.

As Valentine's happens to be on a Sunday, that would mean dining out with my daughters. Sigh! I do hope we have some male company actually. My girls are both legal age and I could do with some suitors serenading my home!

The day has got no special meaning in my life. I spend the day as usual like any other day. On this day some free birds are seen roaming around, organizing picnic, sports etc. That's all. Nothing special!

I'm still single, but usually I spend Valentine's day with my classmates. I'm still enjoying myself though even without any partners..yet.
Still, often I don't know what to do at Valentine's day other than giving chocolate to friends. Having a picnic would be nice though... I hope I have the time for it in this year.
