Do You Love Cooking or Just Eating?

I like to eat just like any normal person, but I really love cooking. It keeps me busy just like cleaning. When I cook I like to make a full course meal. My favorite thing to make or shall I say bake would have to be cakes. I like making different designs. But what I really want to know is if you love cooking, what is your top favorite things to make. It could be soup, appetizers, entrees, desserts, anything that you love to make and people love to eat. Feel free to post recipes if you'd like to share some with me and other cooks. Feel free to post pictures as well.

I like to cook and I like to eat, not always a good combination for my figure though. I don't cook everyday so when I do cook I normally make things like lasagne, roasts, things that require a little more time. I like to try out new things especially with desserts, cakes, puddings, pies I love to make them all. One of my favourite things to both make and eat are pies, both savoury and sweet. The problem is that even with healthy toppings pastry bases are normally made with a lot of butter which is a definite no no for me, but you only live once. One of my favourites is mince pie, probably because I have it so rarely, I make nearly everything from scratch, the base is the only thing that is sometimes store bought.

Never tried buttermilk pie, I just looked up the recipe it looks tasty, it should be tangy. I like milk tarts and custard pie, so this one should be good too, have to find a recipe and try it out.

Well when you have to cook almost every single day of the day because you can't spend money on take out is not fun to cook. It becomes a shore, something that can't escape, and people depend on you because they are hungry!! a lot of pressure :( I find it hard to find people that like to cook EVERY single day of the week. Do it for a month and then come back and tell me if YOU like cooking!! hehehe :))

Oh let me add..many people that say they like cooking is because they only do it once in a while or just do the "no- pressure" stuff (is not food it's dessert!)stuff like baking, making sweets. Of course you enjoy it because people are not waiting for you starving to sit at the dinner table! It's just sweets! Heck I want to bake too, it's fun!

I'm also love to eat than to cook. I'm don't want to cook at home because sometimes they don't appreciate what I'm cooking because it is not delicious. I don't have an appetite to eat what I have cooked because I'm feel satiated about the taste of it.

I love to cook, but I´m not much into the cake thing although I make one when my grandchildren come. But I like to experiment with appetizers and all the way to main dishes. I started with new appetizers when I became a widow. Until then I just bought good cheeses, olives and the like. I discovered that they were expensive and did not last long. Now I make a wide variety of appetizers that can stay in the fridge until I need them. Same thing happened with salds, entrees, soups and main dishes. I like fresh fruit for dessert. I prefer something light after a filling meal

I definitely love to cook and love to eat. But I appreciate other people's cooking compared to mine. I dunno why but I find their cooking more delicious. =) One of the favorite is baking. I can bake cakes and other pastries. I believe that when you want to have good results of what you cook, then you are also going to pour out all the love in your cooking. I believe in that too. There were many times that I dont feel so good, like in a bad mood while cooking and the results are not so good. I remembered this phrase in a movie I've seen a few years ago, it will be much better if we share what we cooked to the ones we love. =)

I love and I mean loooooooove cooking and baking! LOL I love cooking pasta and a couple of Filipino food but baking is my specialty. I started baking when I was around 13 or 14. My mom taught me her all time chocolate cake and I just mastered in one go :P Next were brownies, raisin cookies and peanut butter cookies. I just don't have enough time for baking now a days so I just end up cooking Filipino food :p

I love both. My family loves to eat and we are also respected in this field. My Mum and Bro are accepting catering services. I personally only cook for the people I love and not for business. I love whipping up a dessert or experimenting a new dish. Anything goes, from appetizers to desserts. If I'm the one cooking, I don't eat that much but if it is someone else's effort, then, I'll surely enjoy every bite of it.:-)

I like cooking, as well as keeping myself busy, as well. I've always loved doing creative things, like painting, drawing, writing, and making collages, and I find cooking as another "outlet" for me. ^-^ I think baking might be my favorite form of cooking- I love sweets!

I love food, I love to eat but I am a disaster cooking, I can't do anything descent so me and my boyfriend always end up eating in restaurants, but our favorites are the deserts, we LOVE deserts. Brownies, flans, ice cream, they are so good, but so bad for your health, I have had some success using some recipe books, and online recipe websites.

Actually I am new to cooking. I love both cooking and eating. The actual point is I love to eat more when somebody else cooks not because I don't cook good, but I can relax and have my food. I love to cook because I keep finding different recipe's and do it for my husband as he loves to eat. I vote foe both.

I too love cooking and eating but I especially like my family's cooking. I think you have to quite talented to make cakes because whenever I try it goes horribly wrong unfortunetly. I would like to know how to make a really good childrens birthday cake and how to decorate it with royal icing. Also I have always wondered how to make sticky toffee pudding it is a really tasty pudding and a traditional one it is very rich but I dont know the quick and easy way to make it.

Just eating because I don't really know how to cook. I can cook but only simple ones and it would be more easy to eat than cook haha.
