I don't know it's not so easy for me to do this. Even though I have known the person for a long time and they become a good friend of mine I don't like giving huggs. I also don't like to receive them I know that sounds mean, but I. Well I guess it's because my parents never really game me a lot of huggs and I just feel awkward about it now. Huggs express many feelings of care and compassionate I wish I could be able to hug people that I know, but it seems to be a difficult task for me. Other people know how to give out huggs. I want to be more like that how can I get over the awkwardness of giving huggs or receiving them. I would really like to know. Does anybody else feel the same.

I only choose the people I hug. Me and one of my bestfriends agreed not to hug or kiss on the cheeks since we find them really girly. We just wave goodbye. Or when we comfort one another, we just tap the back. Anyway, I choose the people I hug. It doesn't matter who gives and receives hug. Most of the time, I receive a lot of hugs since I'm chubby. My friends and classmates would always hug me because I'm so huggable.

I am very big on hugs. It used to be because my entire extended family on both sides are like that, but since I became a christian a few years ago, I have to hug someone when I feel their hurt over whatever it is that they are going through at the time. You wouldn't believe how good a hug makes someone feel when they're hurting. I also hold my mom and give her a good long hug sometimes, because when you reach her age and have lost your husband, you don't get any really good hugs very often.

Hello Anime
I never received Hugs from my Parents either but I do love receiving them and giving them
Even now that my Children are grown I will still hug them and they me, I have always hugged them and always will, I give my close Friends Hugs to
Just take it slowly, yes it does feel awkward at first and not right but after a little while it gets easier that is how I did it, with my Children I never had a Problem hugging them,
So just take it slowly, and start with little Hugs at a time you will find it will come easier

I love to be hug and I like to do it to my friend and even to my enemies after i reconcile with them. The most I like is a tight hug with lot of love and concern with my love and that is very sweetest things to do, very warm, sensual and very romantic sense of touch.

I don't have a habit to greet somebody with hugging. I usually give hugs to somebody (usually people from opposing gender) when they have a birthday or something, it's like a form of congratulation or something. I have no problem with giving hugs and I also like to receive some.

I am a hugger, I enjoy hugging people, and in turn being hugged. My family though is not very tactile, so I am rarely able to hug them. I have a few friends I hug and when I was younger there was a friend who would look for me when she felt down for a hug, she said it made her feel better. The thing is if you like to hug or not, forcing a hug is always awkward. People are different, and some like to hug and some don't, I think it admirable that you want to change something about yourself that you don't like, but give it time.

They say hug is very therapeutic. It helps your mood specially when you are feeling sad and stressed out. I give/receive a lot of hugs from my friends and I call them "power hugs" because it magically lifts up my mood and make things better. It's nice to know a lot of people are there to support you.

I like both giving and receiving hugs!!!! So comfy and warm, a hug can represent many things. Compassion, concern, romance, friendship. No matter what the reason, hugs can be the answer.

I love giving away hugs, but to my family and friends only.hugs are very comforting.it is a great way of saying,I am always at your back.a hug is a great way to release stress and fear.a hug can make you emotions stable.a hug is like a good boomerang.when you give it away,it doesn't matter if it goes back to you many times.

I've never really been a fan of hugs to be honest, both giving or receiving
It's strange because my family are always hugging one another, but I'm the complete opposite, only hugging when I absolutely have to
