I am currently somehow logged into Facebook as someone I have never even heard of!
My profile page is hers and it has her name at the top of the page where mine normally is and I am really confused!
When I go to inbox, it comes up with my emails though and it is my home page that comes up when I click on that.
Has this ever happened to you at Facebook?
Do you think it is just a glitch in the system or could someone be trying to hack into my page and alter my personality?

Hiya Bill, that's really strange. Maybe you can try to change your password again or something. I put a very difficult password for my own Facebook account, because you might never know with some hackers looming and stuff like that. Especially when I'm at a pretty good level in my Mafia game, I can't lose my account. Does it happen to you all the time, or just that one time though.

Hi Zed, it is the first time that I have noticed it happening. I was on mylot as well at the time so posted about it straight away. It was doing it for about ten minutes after I first noticed it and then I went into settings and it returned to normal.
I have a pretty hard password, so I feel confident about that, but you never can underestimate those hackers!
I ever got into the mafia game, but have had loads of invites to it. I did join once but did not understand the whole concept of it.

It is, pretty much. I sometimes find it a headache whenever things slow down on the game, but I think the interface is jammed with many loads and all, LOL. I kind of have a love/hate feel about Facebook new layout anyway. I keep forgetting where to find things there, ha..

No, I have not shared my password with anyone. I recently walked past our laptop in the kitchen of our home and saw that it was on my wife's profile page . I then posted a little comment in the box below the profile picture about her having the best husband in the world and it took here over a week to notice it!

I am wondering if this is a glitch, as I have never had this happen yet to me. I do have to relogin every so often, usually at least once a day though. But this is definately interesting that you would be logged in as someone else. Did you log off and then try to log back in and be yourself again? Maybe you need to send a message to the Facebook owner and let them know of this mishap.

to each his own. but i am a member of facebook as i am. i located a few of long lost friends, relatives who live abroad and gained a few friends from all over the world that plays the games that i do. so it was okay with me to open up a page as i am. i also have a chance to show pictures of my son and my wife specially my relatives who i havent heard for such a long time. you might feel sorry if you win cool freinds then you will end up telling them that was not the real you. that would be real sad.

I too am the real me on Facebook. I have nothing to hide, so I have photos of myself all over it. I also have family and friends a long way away and use it too keep in touch with what they are up to. I have found some of my old friends and gotten back in contact with them through the site as well.
But I am still confused as why it gave me access to someone else's page that I had never heard of?
Thanks for your comments.

Hi RawBill! Seems like I read somewhere that facebook, at one time, was having some security issues. This may be a glitch from where they have been working on it or something. It may be a hacker to though. Have you tried to contact the person with your profile?

Hi Jen, I did not contact them because the site would not let me do anything like that. It kept coming up with an error message. I think because the site could not figure out if I was me or her. Then she was gone and it was all back to normal and I cannot even remember her name now!
I think I remember them having issues now too. It does seem familiar. Thanks for your comments!

I am not a member in face book but i have heard lots of cases like this in facebook and i really wonder why people need to change theri identity and log in as someone else and I really dont understand the concept behind this. Its equivalent to cheating and people still practise this incident. I vehemently condemn these kind of acts but it is going to create no use since the people who are used to these kind of acts gonna continue with their works like this
