Some people are doing the 100 post challenge, meaning there trying to type 100 post in one day, I dont think I could spend that much time posting topics or responses, ok I sometimes do spend a lot of time in mylot but my goodness I think that I would have to be posting from sun up to sun down to make it to 100 post in a day, and that would take away to much time even for me lol.
Well how about you have you ever tried to do 100 post in a day or would you ever try to?

The thought of arriving here with a goal to reach is just something I would never do. I see something interesting and join in and have never ever counted how many posts I make.
Does that number include everything or only responses? I respond and comment all over the place and have no idea at all what the total would be in a day.
Those that say they want to post 100 probably are unaware that it is quality and not quantity that counts. 100 quality posts in one day would be rather an ordeal and not my idea of fun at all so I shall not be thinking along those lines here.

Agreed, Diana. I just love to get on here with my friends - numbers don't come into it. However, with 10 words or so to a line, and a minimum of 4 lines to a post, 100 posts would mean writing at least 4,000 words a day. Some professional authors would baulk at that, and there would certainly be no fun involved. And if it was 100 one-lines, they wouldn't earn from them anyway. However you look at it, seems a painful and/ or pointless process.

It reminds me of when the teacher at school used to make us write out 100 times a certain line as a punishment. Self inflicated punishment here? No way - it must be FUN so no goals and be what may!

I think I tried once and I stopped at around 30. I just don't feel like my time is best spent trying to come up with 100 posts. I usually aim for around 10 a day, but most times I do even less than that. I want my comments to be at least somewhat meaningful and sometimes I spend several minutes writing out one post. It's much better for me to just aim low and write posts on discussions I actually feel I can really contribute something to.

I've never tried, but I usually don't keep count of how many I do in a day. So once time I decided to count how many I did per day. I wasn't anywhere near 100 that day, and didn't have the energy or desire to stay on mylot that long. To do that, I guess someone would have to have strong will power, or they must really really love mylot.

same here AmbiePam. I don't really count my posts per day. I just respond and comment back to discussions that interest me. I love and enjoy mylot but I don't have the patient to sit for very long hours typing and reading discussions in front of the computer. Well I salute them.

Wow..that's surely a lot. Nope, I've never done that and just go with the nature flow of answering and commenting. I could be active about a good hour or so, after-which, I'll be logging off.

Only an hour? Can you manage to get to all your friends here if you only have an hour to spare? I think you are going to have to find a bit more time to be available here or there will be a riot soon

Before i proceed, i just want to say that i really miss mylot, its been a long time that i was not able to log in here. With your concern, i am not aiming for that number of posts,10 to 15 posts is enough for me in a day.the only the thing that i can say to those members who post 100 posts in a day, i am proud of you guys, it is really a great achievement on your part. But there is a big question mark?Have you ever try to check the content of your response or posts?Do you reply to a discussion even you are not interested of?Do you response to a discussion eventhough you do know about the topic?Do you look at the quality of your posts? For me, it is not the quanitity of post that is being weigh here, but the quality of the post and the benefits the starter of the discussion. This is my perception about this topic.

You have some good points in your response rberon, I could not post 100 it would be great if I could, though I doubt that my post would have any real quality because it would take too long to read every single topic thoroughly and give an appropriate response. so I think your right. but for those who think they could good for them.

hey rberon! I'm happy to see you again in here! yey!! Yup, I totally agree with you! Quality is far more important than quantity. It was like, choosing a single "rolex" watch over 1000 "unbranded" watch. Hihi! Am I making any sense? hak! But if you can do both, I mean...100 quality post, damn! that's fantastic! (and that is super "lotter") haha!

I was thinking about doing 100 post in a day. But I don't know if i can do that or not. Because I have many problems to do that. First problem, english isn't my native language, so its kind of big problem for me. And then, i dont have much time to spend for my lotting, even though i usually online from sun up to sun down, but i have many things to do. And my job is really tiring, and if i get tired, i can think clearly, so it makes me think harder to answer the question. But i wish that one day i can type more than 100 post in a day and make it as my habit in mylot ^^

I'd probably go mad trying, I probably do less than 100 posts a week on average, I wouldn't be able 100 discussions to respond to in one day. It would be interesting to try one day though just to see if I could. It would certainly give the earnings a boost which is always helpful.

Hi apples. No, I've never done the 100 post challenge before, and at the rate I post I don't think I'll ever be able to do so. LOL The most I've ever posted in a day (not including comments) was just under a quarter of that and that was on a good day! And I post even less than that now, so I just can't see myself getting 100 posts in one day on here. At least not 100 quality posts anyway. LOL
Happy mylotting!

I think it would be way too challenging for me to do 100 posts in a single day. One time I set myself the challenge of earning more than one dollar in a single day. It was possible to do and gave me pleasure. I had to begin at least ten discussions and respond to at least twenty discussions. I like to give quality responses therefore I would run out of time trying to do 100 posts in a single day. My laptop is playing up at the moment so I am on my netbook right now. The keys are smaller on it so typing is not as easy as it usually is when I am on my laptop.

Wow that is surprising to hear... I never tried it and I don't actually count my post a day... I don't think I will reached even half of the challenge... I heard and read some discussions too that earning adollar a day in here is possible... Yeah it is possible but takes a lot of time and work. But as for me, it is really impossible though its good to see a dollar earnings per day...

aw.. haha that's too much.. I dunno if I can make it.. maybe if I try? ^_^
And I can't relate to all discussion though, hahaha ^_^ like the parents stuff or something. ^_^
I don't wanna take out 12hrs of my life just doing a 100 response ^_^ Just having fun is enough ^_^

No way could I post 100 post in one day. I have a hard time just posting 20 posts a day. I am not into the amount of posts. I prefer to read what others posts and just respond to things that really interest me. To post just to get some magic number is no fun. Also, that is just too much work to get $1.

I honestly don't even know how many posts I make in one day. Sometimes I do a lot, sometimes just one or two. I think that if I took on that challenge, I will just make myself crazy and burnout early.
So rather than focus on how many posts I respond to, or discussions I start, I focus on finding the discussion to which I can provide quality responses. And that takes time already.
For those who do make 100 posts a day, my hats off to you!

I haven't tried it yet. Posting 100 comment in one day maybe spend a lot of time. But if someone has an ability to type very fast and supported with high speed internet connection, i think it is possible to make that much of posting. I'm gonna try it someday for a self test.

hahaha. I am a bit curious too... trying wont do any harm, after all. If I have time, and in the mood I think I will try and test myself too bigbucks101... Nice topic she has... It makes other mylotters think of trying it out for themselves.

i haven't try yet. but i do thing it's possible. first, make sure you have a high speed internet. then open up more than just one window and start posting. try 5 windows. it's safe a lot of time. i think that's the solution.

I don't think i could do that many posts in a day, I'd just get tired or bored. It would be a long time to sit on the computer.

I know some people are doing 100 post challenge. But I personally believe it is impossible particularly if one wants to be rational while posting. I have spend a lot of time but could not post more than 60-80 responses maybe because I can not spend more than 5-6 hours on mylot.

I wouldn't even attempt to do that. I come to MyLot for the quality and range of discussions - the earnings are a nice little bonus, but I concentrate on responses and interaction with my friends. No way could anyone make 100 quality responses in a day, and if the responses were just one-liners, they wouldn't earn from them and would risk having them deleted. The whole thing is a pointless exercise as far as I'm concerned.

Waoh, 100 posts per day, there are very courageous lol, the maximum i did was about 30-40 posts a day but if a day, i have time and inspiration, maybe i would take this challenge!
