i will tell him that blue is cold, but not snow and ice. blue is calm, but also waves like the sea. blue is lonely, but twinkles like stars that u can feel its bright.

~hi! i do't think he will understand you, he knows ice only on touch, he has never seen it , neither the waves, so he will not understand you~!

Seeing the light reflected off of something that can be far away determines color. Light is made up of every kind of color, including blue. When all colors of the light are absorbed into the object accept blue, the light you see is blue. Things that are blue include the ocean, the sky, ice, and blueberries. So when someone see's blue, it reminds them of those things. If you feel something wet, or cold, and it tastes like blueberries, then you are sensing all the forms of blue. Can you see it now?

you're amazing! you sound logical and scientific. but here's what i think.. we all see because there is light. light comes with a certain degree of heat. maybe the blind can identify the difference between the degree of heat of blue and yellow and etc.
they may not see the light, but it's only the blind who can answer whether they can see the color when we do our own strategy of explaining them the color blue...

I would explain blue by letting him touch ice. Then red by letting him touch something hot. That way, the blind man can associate it to something he can sense.

~ Hi! The answer, at least for me is very simple. You can't explain a blind person the blue color, because he has no idea for the world and for the colors, so we can not explain to such person how the blue color looks like! ~

That answer is a giving up answer. You need to try harder.
Think of what the color blue means, and then explain it all to them.
And if they are scientific enough, then explain to them light waves, and the sensors in our eyes. And how blue is a specific wavelength.
You don't have any blind friends do you?

Well its a fact that a blind person will never know what blue is cos everyones blue is different. Some may say its a colour or sadness but its also a colour of coolness. You know what. The best answer is to say its a colour which you will one day see when science or God heals your eyes.
