When was the last time you saw a movie together with your family?

For me I can't remember the date, all I know is year 2008.Anyway I'm an Overseas contract worker before, the last time i go home was last year and we haven't been to the movies since then. One of the reason maybe is due to the high price of movie tickets which is understandable , and of coarse when you are in the theater you buy some snacks while enjoying the movie.Anyway we still enjoy watching movies in the comforts of our home because we can buy DVD movies after it was shown in movie theaters with the price of one movie ticket only.I hope I don't encourage others doing the same.

Last christmas, my family and I watched a tagalog movie. In the Philippines, there is MMFF where they only show tagalog movies in cinemas so we took a toll on it and enjoyed it. Although there were lots of people int the movie house and the movie wasn't that to die for, just spending it with my family was worth it and fun. We had dinner afterwards and it was really memorable especially now that my sister is getting married. She may not spend next year's christmas with us which will be heartbreaking.

~ hi there! well, as I can remember it was 2 years ago, about Christmas. We have watched "Home alone I" on the DVD player, because we love that movie very much. I haven't watched movies with them very often, because they don't watch any. ~

Last year. We actually watched a couple of films last year as a family. It was "Up" and "Ice Age 3". You are right, it's quite expensive. We usually rent movies if we want to watch films but, going to movie theater as a family is a nice thing to do too.

I think it was in some month of 2004, I was in schooling at that time. But after that, we didnt get a chance to go for a movie together. They are interested in it. Rather we will go to some other places like beaches, restaurants, theme parks as a family.

On January 11th 2010, my family and I went to the cinema and watched the movie Avatar together. It has been quite a lot time that I haven't watched a movie in the cinema with my parents. Since this movie is very popular here, so it makes all of us get together:) I love China

Dear Stanley, There is nothing wrong in watching the Original DVD's at home but we should prevent piracy, but you need to wait for some time if you need original DVD/CD. As you told we can buy the DVD at one ticket cost instead of spending the money in theatres but we can watch a film which is technical wonder in theatres and that give a lot of happiness for the entire family members...... but if the film is boring then you feel very much for spending that much of amount in some flop film.

Oh me too! I think the last time we watched a movie as a family was for X-Men (but i think it was the first one rather than 2, I could be wrong though). This was when Mall of Asia recently opened. My dad, brother and I took my mom to the airport because she had a business trip. On the way home, we decided to go checkout MOA and see a movie. :) It's not unusual though that we don't all go to the movie theater together anymore. after all, my brother and I are all grown up and have relationships already. but we still watch movies on DVD at home.

I know that it was like 2 months or so ago it was not that long ago. Me and my family always love to watch movies together because it's more exciting and fun like this. Movies can be a bit boring if you don't watch it with at least one other person. Hopefully me and my family will go see another movie together soon. If the prices are to high why not just buy a DVD and watch it all together at home that's always fun too.

It has been very long since we have gone for a movie together with the family. I am newly wed. I have not gone to any movie with my in-laws and all. I and my husband went to a movie last month. In my mom's place, my father don't like movies. So we don't go for theater's. I usually go with my friends at that time I will also take my mom. With my father it has been around 2000 when we went for a movie all together.

I think that last time we did it was during the Transformers movie. We brought our 6 year old son to watch considering that he loves transformers so much. Well, we may not be going to the theaters all the time but from time to time, we watch DVD movies together in the comfort of our home.

Well, It was on 1st January, 2010 that we went watching movie in the theater. It was "Avatar". I like watching movies in theater rather than buying or renting DVD and watch it in the comfort of our home.

Well honestly the last time that my family and I went out together to watch a movie was back when Lost World came out a few years back. Haven't been to one since, the cost is just too high. Instead me and my family just rent movies or buy them and we have a movie night every single weekend. I personally think that going out to a movie is a waste of money, why go to the theater when you can watch a movie at home for a fraction of the cost, plus your very own clean bathroom? I personally have better things to waste my time on.

It has been many moons since I watched a movie with the family since most of the family live out of state. However, I do go to the movies regularly with friends. I also go to the movies alone.

Just last week. My husband and I and our three adult daughters along with our new son in law all went to see the Lovely Bones. It was our eldest daughters birthday so we went to dinner and then decided to see a movie. It was nice having the whole family there. Probably won't happen very often. Good movie by the way. Not oscar worthy but good.
