when human feel more comfort we become more lazy, does the airconditioner in the cars make drivers more sleepy, does it increase the chance of accident?
same in the case of hearing music while driving will it divert the drivers mind?
if not then why not allowwing mobiles(even the hands free with blutooth or headset)?
give your opinion

Hi!
I don't think many people are distracted by AC or by music playing. Most, however, are totally distracted by taking part in a conversation, especially on the phone. Attention goes to the person on the other end instead of the driving conditions...

Hi! I think people that blare there music can cause problems. Because in case an ambulance needs to get through and you don't hear them makes a big problem. Because it can cost someones life. Now if it is down low enough to where you can hear it and hear everything else around you that is always a good thing. I think a cell phone causes problems at times while driving and talking. I have seen people all over the road while being on a cell phone. Because me and my husband was behind someone that was all over the road because of being on a cell phone.

So long as the Driver's attention is on the road and other vehicles and hazards around them, and not being distracted by bending over to get stuff out of the glovebox, changing cd's or fiddling with the aircon while on the move, holding a phone to your head in dense traffic,or even texting(!),then the risks you take when driving are not much increased..They're called Road Traffic ACCIDENTS,whih indicates no blame..but there's blame aplenty if you're busy doing something else that distracts you from driving as safely as you can..

I don't thing if aircon and music can increasing the chance of accident. However as a driver you shouldn't set the voice to high level for your own safety. Perhaps such things could increasing the chance of accident but it's back to ourselves to manage those things wisely while using them. But using mobile phone really has high chance of accident since our attention is separate to listening someone talking to us on mobile phone and we also must seriously driving at the same time. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Yes, I believe using AC and mobile phones when you're in the middle of something that requires a lot physical impact is a bad influence towards your body. Of course music has the power to divert one's mind, that's what makes music powerful.
Try listening heavy metal song during your training in the gym. It really hits the spot!

I don't think both of that are contributors to an accident. Actually, being drunk is the no.1 potential killer..the next one I can think of would be when the hands are not concentrating on the steering wheel, the mind wanders, the eyes doze off and getting distracted totally and going at a high speed. Not concentrating would be it. There are many factors surrounding. Using a phone like holding it while driving is also very dangerous. I don't think AC and music can be considered dangerous. But perhaps too loud music in the car might provide to be a hazardous cause, like for instance, not being able to hear the honking of other vehicles and stuff like that. These are my personal thoughts on this, good discussion here.

I haven't heard the research about the relationship between the accidents and air conditioning and music. But in my opinion, I don't agree with that relationship. Because accidents maybe link with concentration during the driving. I think most of accidents happen because overspeeding or losing concentration.
Air conditioning and music maybe linked with concentration issue, but once again, I don't agree with that.
For me, air conditioning and music are accompanying me for comforting while driving.

well i always thought cold ac keeps us awake, like for ex: my teachers used to keep the class really cold and said it was to keep students awake. the raido in the car well it make me drive fast when a song i really like comes on, so i think keeping it cold awake and fast ,... YES would increase the chance of an accident. definitely hand held phones while driving bad idea, thu i do it, hands free can divert attention to the call but i think much more safe!
