For me, maybe up to my memory recall i cant give a twenty count me saying i love you to my siblings, mother, father, grandma, aunties, friends and etc. I kinda feeling awkward saying it to them.
According to what I have read, Love regardless of wether it's for a child, a partner, a parent, a sibling, or a friend, is risky business. When we love and allow our emotions to not only be known or expressed WE RISK one of the three things; rejection, loss, and having to accept love back. So many of us are wandering around with such deep wounds that the act of accepting love in return is just as scary as rejection.
Loving someone, and telling them often, is a gift. And not just to the recipient of you love, but to yourself as well. When you truly love someone and find the courage to express it well and express it often, you are giving more a gift to yourself than anyone. You are claiming you will and right to live fully and completely.
I am less saying I love you words to my dears. So i should be start telling them often that i can countlessly saying it.

Love is just a word and can be expressed in action not in just a word. Many people tell their spouses, children, parents, etc. that they "love" them, but yet truly don't. To make someone feel loved is to prove it in your actions. Just hearing "I love you" a million times won't cut it. Actions speak louder than words.
