Slim Fast

Last year I used slim fast and lost about 25 pounds. Then I got tired of it and stopped. I am wanting to start losing weight again and thinking about Slim Fast. Any ideas on what I can do to keep from getting tired of it again?

You would be better off changing your life style to lose weight and keeping it off. Drink more water, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and walking 30 min per day.The weight would stay off better. Each time weight is gained back it is harder to lose.

I've not had a problem keeping the weight off. I haven't gained back any that I lost. I am just wanting to lose more.

Mix it with other things.. like the slim fast optima (french vanilla) i take that adn mix it in a blender with strawberries, ice and fat free milk! it is really good and diffferent.. you could try that with all kinds of different fruit..you just have to change it up sometimes!

What made you get tired of the slim fast? Was it that you drank it twice as day? What I would do is instead of drinking the slim fast twice a day, drink it for one meal. Let's say you choose lunch. For breakfast alternate bewteen the slim fast and something else - like a bowl of Special K or whole grain oatmeal - that you know is health and about the same amount of calories/fibe/etc as the slim fast.

I recently lost 10 lbs by just keeping fruit around the house and drinking V8 juice. I started going to the grocery store for fruit at least once a week whereas before I never thought about it. So anyway, instead of chips or fries with my sandwiches, I'd eat a peice of fruit. Now if I wanted chips or fries I would eat them. That way it did not get boring. I also made myself drink a glass of water each morning and night.
