Yesterday I responded a discussion in MyLot. I wrote a very long response, and it took me a quite some time to figure out the best way of responding to the post. Then as usual, I pressed the button, and waiting for the tag your response page to load. Suddenly, MyLot said that my post has an unidentified symbol or something like that. I forgot to take a snapshot of it. I wondered what happened, because the only symbol I placed in the discussion details box is just apostrophes looking like quotation marks. The "best" part is, my whole long response was gone, just like that. I didn't go back to the previous page because I knew, if I do that, it'll disappear.
Woe is me.. I got quite frustrated because of that. Then I sat back and tried to reflect on my own response. I figured then probably God warned me that my post may contain some ambiguity, which can make confused people even more confused. Then I felt relieved and calmed down. God really works in mysterious ways, doesn't He?

deenaly yesterday afternoon and eve were pure hell here as like Diana said there was a software problem then after losing a response I find i am dumped and cannot get back on mylot because of a run error so I finally gave up and relaxed with classical music. grring occassionally and talking to the computer which was a fruitless endeavor. I always wonder why if something we write has to disappear never to be found does it have to be the best longest response I have written?

I'm sorry to hear(read) that. But you see, since you have quite a reputation in MyLot, you can always copy and paste your discussions. So, I suggest after creating your discussion or responding to others, you could copy the whole post, and save in a text file, so that if suddenly things like this ever happened, you will have your backup, and you won't feel frustrated because your post is gone. On the other hand (me of course), I'm still new to MyLot, and my reputation hasn't allow me to paste on my post. Therefore after posting a lot and suddenly the post disappears, I couldn't do anything...
