I know how your sister feels coz i, too have passed the licensure exam for Physical Therapy. I couldn't believe it that time coz i really did not put too much effort in reviewing. I only used the stock knowledge i got for my course. I was not expecting to pass it but thank God i did! =)

I took my nursing board exam last November 2008. I was happy too because it was my first take and I passed. I remember that before I was going to the office (my first job), I received a text that the results were released. I checked and me and most of my classmates passed. It sure was a great feeling!
When I got to work, I was happy because some of my officemates who took the exam also passed. The next day, I think, there was a congratulations note on our white board for us board passers. Our teammate was very generous and treated us who passed the board. He treated us some drinks at Starbucks.

Back in 1995, I passed the Mechanical Engineering board exam. I finished top 8 out of about sixteen hundred passers. Total number who took the exam were about 2500. It was a happy day, as this result made up for the many unfortunate years I spent in University finishing up ME. It was also great being honored at the official oath taking ceremony.

Fortunately I did in one take. I Barely passed the CPA board exam. It took me a year to prepare for it because, it was said to be the second most difficult exam to pass following the Bar Exam. And generally the passing rate was very low at that time.
I dread the day the results would go on paper. I don't want to be disappointed that my name wasn't on the list. I was still sleeping when my friends called on the phone and congratulated me. I didn't believe them so I went to town just to get a newspaper and I was so happy they were telling the truth. I drop by to church to say a little prayer of thanks.

The course that I took doesnt require a board exam. So I dont need to brush up and review on things. Though I have cousins and lots of friends who took up Nursing as their college course. They're quite nervous in taking their Board Exams after graduation. My cousins, however, weren't as lucky. They have taken more than one board exam and still have not passed them. They're planning on migrating to another country as well.
Congratulations to your sister!

I felt exactly the same way when my BF announced to me that I passed my nursing board exam. At first, I didn't scream for joy. I cried, hurried downstairs and told my mom who was still awake at midnight. We hugged and oh , the drama!
That was way back 2005.
