Going out to get a job is much more important than just doing homework?

I am now a junior students major in English. I did some part-time jobs in the past. However, some company still can not accept me to be a employee. At that moment, I feel confused about myself because my ability do not match with their quailty. So maybe I should stop and refresh for a moment?

I think sometimes you need to wait cause you r still a student in school. It dosen't mean you r not so good to apply for the job. From my oponion, you'd better stop and ask the company the reason why they don't choose you. Then you will get a clear answer instaed of guessing here.

I wouldn't say that getting a job isn't more important then research if you are doing important work on diseases or something to help benefit our planet. They are both important in the end as long as they are important to you and have some kind of meaning.

Well I say study first if you have the money to spend on it because it will broaden your opportunities when you graduate. It will help you a lot in the future while any company can just throw you away anytime if they don't need your services anymore and if that happens to you without a finished degree then your in losing position

what kind of job are you applying??
as far as i know, i believe junior students are supposed to study and not focusing on full time job. part time job is acceptable for extra experience and finance but full time job is not an option.
Some companies are reluctant to hire a junior students as well. they think you are still "junior".
