Samuel and Jessica have been friends for years. They met in high school and somehow got along with each other. Samuel was the male counterpart of Jessica and so was Jessica to Samuel. They liked the same things and even had a crush on each other at some point. But they never became more than friends. They were happy and content with what relationship they had. They were so close that they even promised to back up each other in any fight whether either he or she was wrong in the first place. For them it was their way of feeling secured. That somebody will always be there for them. That they will always have each other. For years Samuel had his own line of girlfriends and same with Jessica. Maybe some of the girlfriends of Samuel got a little bit jealous for Samuel and Jessica's friendship. But none of them came between them. None of Jessica's boyfriends had any problem with Jessica and Samuel's closeness. You see, Jessica and Samuel argue a lot. About all kinds of things!! Even silly small things. And Jessica's boyfriends have seen that. So they never worry. In time they were each other's best company. During unbearable heartaches, they made it through together. But that usually the case with Jessica. Jessica was a heart throb and always gets a suitor even when she's still currently in a relationship. Samuel is the one who would always tell Jessica to not entertain any suitors while she still has a boyfriend. Even when this sounds like another love story of 2 best friends.. that somehow they will fall for each other. unfortunately, that is not the case here. Samuel and Jessica are just 2 people contented of what they have. They never think of what ifs and what should. For them it's good the way it is. Samuel has always assured Jessica that nobody will come between them and that NO GIRLFRIEND should ask him to choose between her and his friends. One day, Samuel got a new girlfriend. Her name is Juliet. She seemed had similar qualities with Jessica. She's pretty, frank and fun to be with. But one day, one of Jessica and Samuel's friends told something to Juliet that she had misunderstood. From that moment on she started making a way of Samuel to stop hanging with Jessica and their other friends. Until one day, Juliet made her choose. Samuel chose Juliet. Jessica and their other friends felt hurt. Because they have been through a lot and thought that their closeness will not falter. But it did. Months had passed after the incident. Jessica had forgotten about what happened and had gone back to her life. She now has a new boyfriend and doesn't feel the absence of her best friend. One day, Jessica was logged on her friendster and she got a message from a girl named Juliet. The message said, "i'm sorry... i hope we can be friends and forget about everything." Jessica was surprised that the message was from Sam's girlfriend. She didn't know what to say. But in her mind she thought, Juliet isn't the one who needs to apologize but her best friend whom she felt abandoned her for this woman. But Jessica understood that Samuel really loves this girl. And may have thought that Jessica will understand. Jessica felt that it would be so tiring to keep a gap between her and her best friend. So she befriended Juliet. She also apologized if there were any misunderstandings. So far Jessica and Juliet are still ok. Although Jessica can still sense that Juliet is not that very open to her. But Jessica still reassures Juliet in her own way that Samuel is just a friend to her and will always stay that way.
