Annoying Pop-Up's

Has anyone noticed a large number of irritating pop-up ads on their computers since joining this site? I've run my anti-virus scan 3 times in the last 3 days and all it finds are tracking cookies. Not sure what to make of this. The reason I suspect they are from this site is because the format of the page on the pop-up is exactly the same.
My pop-up blocker is on, but these somehow open as new windows and not true pop-ups from existing windows. Makes me mad because I was trying to respond to a post and I got one that locked my computer up, and of course lost my post. Hope this doesn't get deleted, I'm not blaming this site for any of this, but sometimes you get these viruses or what-not from your favorite sites because they get hacked.

what kind of internet surfer are you using? Mozilla? IE? Opera? or what?
i believe using Mozilla and IE are good. (even though i dun really know bout Opera)
They have automatic firewall to keep those pop-ups away.
i never have pop-ups before and so do now. It you still have lot of pop-ups after u are using Mozilla or IE, then you should scan all your computers. It might have virus there that block your firewall.
Formatting should be one of the options as well.

Are you talking about those little windows that pop up when you scroll over what appears to be a link in a post?
