When you feel evil do you anoint your home?

When we feel like there is something bad around us or someone comes over that we feel is evil we anoint ourselves and our home. Our preacher says we should do this when we feel evil around us. So we anoint and ask God to remove all evil from us. After we do this we both feel a lot better. We keep a medicine bottle of olive oil and ask God to bless it for anointing. And believe it or not the people that we anoint the house for won't step into our home without invitation, they will be waiting a long time to be asked to come into our home. We started this a year or so back and believe me it works. Our lives have been blessed many times since we started anoniting our home and ourselves. So my question do you anoint your home? Do you anoint yourself?

Yah I agree with you. We can defeat the evil spirits by casting them away through prayers and utterance of God's name. The presence of bad spirits will usually felt if memebers of the house will always have misunderstandings, hatred, jelousy, pride and problems. Just call God's name and mercy, surely everything will be calm and perfect.

Hi DenverLC. I do believe that the evil one only wants those that are close to God that is why some people feel the presence of evil. We do know people that every time they are around we get the feeling of evil, so as soon as they are gone we anoint ourselves and our home. We call on God to protect us and our home.

If I were you, I will always pray to God and ask protection from the interference of evil and other magical creatures that surround us. Evil can't really bother us, because evil is afraid of people those who believe and always close to his God. So why are many people who feel disturbed by evil?
That's because evil use fear of people. If we feel afraid, anxious, nervous, the evil will easily affect us, and even interfere with our lives. Therefore, every moment we must always remember to always ask God and his protection.

Hi Cummank and welcome to my lot. Our preacher teaches us to anoint our homes when there is evil around us. Evil attacks those who are trying to get closer to God. We don't allow evil in our home. We do pray all the time but evil only wants those of what he can't have, the ones that love the LORD are the ones that evil wants. God is always with us as long as we ask.

I have done so with holy water many times. It seems to help alot and puts me more at ease.
