Do you preserve your pictures in your album yearly?

Does anyone here have an album of pictures? I do but I find it hard to put updated pictures in the family album. We do keep the past in our albums but sometimes we tend to forget to update the album but we do update it yearly but at the end of the year like December. ^^ So does anyone here update their family album?

Nowadays, when everything is digital, photo albums have been obsolete. Nobody prints a hard copy of their pictures anymore. I just have my pictures saved in my hard drive. It costs more to have them printed and placed in an album.

That's very true. But do you always carry your photo albums around when you go to places especially in remote areas?

Before the onset of digital cameras, yes I have lots of albums from family pictures to pictures of friends and work and other scenes. Now, I rarely have photos in an album. But I see to it that I print out pictures of events like birthdays or special occasions and put them in an album. Two pictures for an event is enough. And I usually have labels that say, for more pictures open the computer.
I like flipping through pictures in an album coz it's easier and more personal.

Your discussion made me think that it is good to make an album every year. We have many albums, but now I stopped developing pictures. I like to store pictures digitally. My husband is fond of photography. He changes his camera once in a while and takes lots of pictures. He also likes to take prinouts and keep nice pictures from places across the world as a collection.
