I keep on thinking why are the world has not changed in reality compared to what movies has tried to doctrined us for the past decades? Movies in 80's and 90's describe the year 2000 will be full of high tech appliances, flying cars (?), robot (?) ad so forth. Or is it just me did not noticed those changes?

Well in the first place why would you depend on what the movies tell you. Movies are there to entertain you and amaze you but it is not gauge for the future. They usually exaggerate things to make their films interesting and it does not mean that they hold the truth about the future.

Yeah I also saw one group that is like idolizing Star Wars and created some kind of a cult. Hello! I think they have become obsessed with the movie and started creating the cult. Well I think that is really wrong way to interpret a movie. They have come to a point that they are over reacting to it.

Hi, My! I doubt that we'll see that much progress that soon, but there's been a tremendous amount of advancement in technology in the past decade or so. If they'd just find a way to make a self-cleaning house, I'd be thrilled to live in that future!

*LOL* Not many of the innovations thought to happen during this current decade have happened. Granted technology is changing rapidly but we are not as advanced as many movies predicted we'd be. But you know I'm glad it didn't happen as too much technology & screen time is no good for people. We need to strive for a happy medium between nature & technology.
