What they are saying about cell phones is not true. There is a lot of talk, because its the hottest and most used product on the market. Therefore, there are going to be some people who want to take it off the market. In order to do so they create so-called studies to scare people into thinking they will get cancer to get them to stop using the product. A cell phone is completely harmless. If it heats up in your hand, that's the battery heating up due to extencive use. Warnings listed on cell phones are more for the battery's benifit, and have nothing to do with long-term use.
Cell phones, just like microwaves, any other eletronic device is perfectly safe.

Problem with those studies are that they're not 100% confirmed. I've been using cell phone for over 20 years & I've never had health problem directly resulting from use of cell phones. In fact, there are other studies that show we're exposed to much higher levels of electro-magnetic radiations from other everyday devices. When I find those links, I'll post them at the later days. One of those studies show that we're exposed to something like 317% higher level of electro-magnetic radiation just by standing next to neon sign waiting for bus. Anything electronic will amit such radiations & that includes headphones we wear when we listen to music - such as ipod, watching tv, sitting infront of computer, or even just sitting in the car. Some of the train tracks are eletrified & just sitting in a big metal box we call "train", we're at a constant exposure to megnatic field. Something as simple as talking on a house phone, including corded & cordless phones, have speakers. Most speakers have electric wires rapped around a magnet. They amit electro-magnetic radiation, cordless or not. I was in a car accident when I was younger. I've been having headaches ever since. When I turned 18, I got myself a cell phone & I've been using it since. My headache seemed to have gotten better now. I'm not saying using cell phone cured my headache. But at the same time, for 20 years, it didn't make it worse either. I do admit my ears hurt after long time of talking on my cell phone. But my ears hurt even worse after listening to music for a long time, too. My eyes hurt when I watch tv for few hours. May be I should throw away my tv, stereo & ipod, too, because they my cause cancer to my eyes & ears. This thing about cell phone causing cancer has gotten way outta hand in my opinion.

I've heard a news regarding this matter before. I also think that it can affect our health but we should not panic. I think that the use of sell phone in moderation will not harm us. Maybe a healthy lifestyle will decrease the chances.

I've heard about this too. It is something to do with the cell phone being close to your head. And you should never sleep with it right next to your head. But I don't know if I really believe that because it seems like everything is linked to cancer nowadays anyways.
