Learn something new every day to keep your mind sharp. Learning can be
quite exciting adventure, but sometimes, as adult with family
responsibilities we often forgot. We are just too busy teaching our
children the basic things in life, such as feeding themselves, dressing
appropriately, tie their shoes,or behaving, that we stop in
learning new things. However researchers have found that the act of
learning, make us more creative, energetic and enhance our self-esteem
(ie)(for example here i myself joined in Mylot website, and started
new discussion participating other activities etc., to learn and
gain little knowledge) It doesn't matter what subject we are taking on,
it is new skill and knowledge that make life more interesting.
1.Enroll in Distance Learning.
2.In-Store Classes.
3.Explore Continuing Education Classes.
4.Check the Library.
5.Learn on your own.
I hope the above points are very much useful to stimulate our mind
learing new things in our precious life.

I pretty much try to soak up any information that I can get ahold of when I find a topic that interests me. I've taken two different distance learning courses and am currently in the process of getting my associates degree on line. The only problem with distance learning courses is that sometimes the motivation (especially over a long period of time) dwindles, which makes it extremely difficult to finish it.
Of course, if you are talking about simply exercising the mind, well the shorter classes are probably better, and learning something new is never a bad thing. ;) So I would agree with you that anyone that can, should take an extra course or two throughout their lives. ;)
