Hello everybody. What do you think about the Royal Rumble Results. There were some great matches last night. Unfortunately some of the results were pretty predictable. I'm glad to see the the forecasts were right about two of the scenarios that will follow. Randy Orton fought against the Legacy members because he lost the match due to Cody's interference. Also the thing that made me very happy was the surprise entrance of Edge as #29 in the Rumble. As predicted he was the one that threw Jericho out and also he won the Rumble by eliminating Cena. It was great. The crowd was ecstatic to see Edge back in the ring. They staid another 10-15 minutes after the transmission was over chanting "Welcome back!". I really hoped that he'll be a surprise entrant in the Rumble and that's exactly what happened. Another surprise entrance in the Rumble was Beth Phoenix. And she eliminated The Great Khali during a kiss. The idea of CM Punk eliminating competitors one by one and after that staying in the ring alone and talking on the mic was pretty cool also. About the other fights, Christian wining against Jackson was a good match also with both wrestlers trying to show that ECW still has talent. The Miz wining against MVP and after that MVP attacking him which resulted later in attacks between them in the Rumble makes me think that this rivalry will last for a while and probably will be settled at Wrestlemania with MVP wining the title from The Miz. Women Championship match was a joke like almost all the time lately. In the World Heavyweight Championship match I saw a very tired and hurt Undertaker which still won with a huge Last Ride on Rey Misterio. But I don't think that we'll see the Undertaker for a long time in the ring. After Wrestlemania he'll be out for surgeries in my opinion. I'm waiting for your feedbacks.

I personally really enjoyed this year's Royal Rumble. The Miz winning made me glad as I am a big fan of this guy, and judging by the reception of the fans, I wouldn't be surprised if he is a future WWE Champ. Then the Rumble itself, I thought was better than last years. It felt less cluttered, and CM Punk's in-ring promo put a smile on my face
I'm just happy nobody like Batista or HHH won. Edge returning was both satisfying and surprising

It appears that many people are tired of HHH and Batista coming strong and winning with their brute force the games. I really prefer a wrestler like Edge who also cheats a little and is great in ladder matches in my opinion. The Miz could receive a push in the near future but it depends a lot on how soon they're willing to put aside the classics(HBK, The Undertaker, Batista, HHH, Orton and even Edge) In this moment they still need some of them since the new wave is not very experienced in main events.

Over all I felt that this years royal rumble ppv was very good. The Ecw title match I feel was of a very good standard, in the past ecw has been formed into more of a rookie roster however tonights match was superb. I was suprised howver that Christian didn't lose the title as there have been many rumours surrounding it. The women championship match was done in reguarlar fashion with a quick squash match with Mickie James finally getting revenge after a rather boring piggy James storyline. The Orton sheamus match was good I feel even though Cody interupted. It will be good to see what kind of story line can ivolve between the three. Rey vs undertaker match was a typical David bs Goliath battle which I nonetheless enjoyed but the deadman was just a bit to much for Rey Rey. It would have been good to see an upset however. MVP vs miz was an average much I never realy got into it but I agree with you in saying that they will most likely fight at wrestlemania with MVP winning. The actual rumble match I loved I thought it was very exciting and entertaining as it narrowed down to the final 4. And I was also plesantly suprised to c edge return with a big pop from the crowd. It will be interesting to see what happens to hbk and the undertaker feud. I think that hbk will somehow vs Batista for the right to fight The undertaker. I was happy to see edge win the rumble as he has never won it before it will be cool to see who he takes on. Overall I really enjoyed the rumble and it will be good to see what esculates in the coming weeks nearing wrestlemania!

I'm curious to see how they're going to make the Wrestlemania match between Undertaker and HBK also.I see two ways of doing this, but maybe WWE has a better story:
1. HBK enters the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match and earns a title shot at Wrestlemania against The Undertaker
2. Edge goes for The Undertaker's title and wins so The Undertaker will be free to wrestle HBK at Wrestlemania without the title on the line.

The Royal Rumble this year wasn't good. It's boring in the most part and Beth Phoenix shouldn't be in there. Seeing a woman get beaten by a man is not entertainment. :(

Rumble was extraordinary this year.
Gotta love the match between Micky James and Michele MCchool. It seems that it's Michelle turn to get embrassed.
One noticeable thing about this year's Royal Rumble match? Did anyone noticed that there wasn't so much crowd in the ring? The most number of wrestlers fighting in the ring at any point was 4.
Superstars were quickly eliminated one by one till the 30th superstar entered the ring and the competition in the ring seems to be quite low.
Again Undertaker and Rey match was classic. I feel like this match was a one sided match. Is it only me?

Most of the Rumble to me was rather bland. One of the more lackluster Rumble events in recent years. Undertaker and Rey was about as good as can be expected, but I just have a feeling if this match would have happened a few years ago, it would have been so much better. Both men are broken do so much. Rey to a certain extent, but Undertaker especially. He's been on the cusp of being done for quite some time. 2010 may be his last year. The finish in the WWE Champions match was a joke. Sheamus appears to the joke that I feared that he would be as champion. I wanted to give him a chance but it looks like he may be a flop, until he loses to Hunter at Mania and then fades back into the midcard.
The result of the actual Rumble itself was good. Edge winning caught me off guard. I had a feeling that he was going to be a surprise entrant, as it had been rumored for many weeks. Still, him actually winning caught me off guard. I thought it would be Triple H winning, to set up another bland Triple H main event. Likely, Jericho's going to win the title next month in the Elimination Chamber and its likely going to be Chris Jericho and Edge for the belt, which would be a somewhat fresh main event for once. Edge winning is good. Hopefully if he does win the belt at Mania, its for an extended run this time, as I think we've all see enough Edge one month title reigns.

I'm soooooooooo tired of seeing Hunter in almost every main event. It's so pathetic. He's the best,he's the meanest and he must win no matter what. Yeah right. When I understood from some rumours that he'll win the Rumble I was pretty close of not watching it any more. But I had faith that Edge will make a surprise returning and that kept me awake and made me watch the Royal Rumble even if I was expecting a HHH win. With his win Edge made me very happy. As for Edge's title reigns, I really think that he deserves a long reign since in my opinion he's one of the best if not the best wrestler in WWE.

I thought the matches pre Rumble were pretty boring, the exception being Christian vs Ezekiel and the Miz vs MVP. The fact that no titles changed hands was also pretty meh honestly, and Shaemus still comes off horribly booked as I don't think he's actually pinned anyone in the main event since becoming champion, so he's competing with Mysterio for worst booked champ ever.
The Rumble itself was quite good, I think Punk was the highlight of the match though. his promos got some great heat and it worked well, I do wish he had stayed in a bit longer as him getting the iron man would of helped him a bit more. They did do pretty well in building up some story lines in the match as well, continuing MVP and Miz, building towards Edge's return with Jericho being the only man standing right before he appeared, and so on. So it was a pretty good Rumble. Not having an actual Iron Man or giving a bit more time to some mid carders seemed a bit of a waste, but it lived up to the typical Rumble which is always fun.

I gotta agree with the above; The Miz is quickly turning into a damned good heel, something I would not have expected when he was on "Tough Enough" or even back when he first started with the WWE. However, it'll be interesting to see where it goes with MVP, as I hope he doesn't get bogged down by the pairing with the Big Show as a tag-team. MVP/The Miz is quickly becoming my favorite program on the entire RAW brand.
The Rumble match itself was pretty good; it did bring a lot of people up to the forefront. It got CM Punk a LOT of heat which I think is also good as his "group" goes forward. It's interesting to see the crowd react to him, cause I think that they still haven't quite figured out what to think of the new "direction" for him. Beth Phoenix in the Rumble was interesting; it brought back memories of Chyna, just at least someone a little better looking. I thought there was some hype brought on Kane being a "monster" in the ring but he was a quick footnote in the Rumble. Cena came in pretty hot, but he fell to Edge in the end. Now, like a lot of you, I thought Edge would too return for the Rumble; they'd been all but reporting it on inside sites like wrestlezone.com for weeks; but to have him win it...I mean, picture this... "injured Superstar, returns to action early, becomes a surprise entrant to the Rumble, and wins it all?" Haven't we seen this one before? That being said, I thought it was cool to see Edge win, and I think as well that it only signifies an eventual Edge/Chris Jericho match at Wrestlemania, although that would mean Jericho would have to win the Heavyweight Title at some point. Maybe they'll address it tonight on RAW...
One last thing; I know Christian has been the longest-reigning current champion, but he needs to drop the title quick and move to one of the big shows. He's got the talent and I think that he's bringing back a lot of that following that he had pre-TNA Christian Cage. All in all, though, a good PPV. Not the best, but by far not the worst of recent memory.
