i came to know from a source that dreamt is the only english word which ends in the letters "mt"...fascinating stuff..isn't it so???

That's cool, I love hearing things like that. I would never have the time or patience to do enough research to verify it, though.

Same here. I like trivia, but verifying some of it is really a pain. Specially when it would take one to go through the entire English dictionary!

That's interesting. Talking about words in language is quiet fun. I found some other unique fact about words though, like only a few words in English ended with -dous. And also there're some interesting fact about words in my own language..

It makes one ponder and wonder if this is a fact or a fallacy and challenges your mind to think. Anyway, thanks for the info. Actually, there are 5 English words ending in 'mt' though there are all derivitives of 'dreamt.' daydreamt · dreamt · outdreamt · redreamt · undreamt There are only 2 words ending 'gry' all the best urban
