I live in a rental trailor park.... I own my trailor but my husband and I are waiting to find the property we want before moving..... It is so oblivious to me that alot of people are ignorant when it comes to moving.... These people will try to skip in secret, through the night, and whatever other way they can come up with..... Do they not understand that their name follows them everywhere.... To me I would give my notice, pay what I owe.... It is called respect and a good name..... I don't want my landlord to have to tell someone else I would not rent to them they skip out..... How does that make a person look? We live in a very small town where everyone knows about everything...... Your rap sheet follows you everywhere and that man you skipped out on may be the man to bail you out one day.....

It has always been the case that people try to rip others off, and that their reputation follows them. With computers it is even worse. Their history may follow them even when they go to another town. It cannot be gotten away from. In general people just worry about the "now" and forget about the "later". It does come back to bite them.
