Toyota has announced the recall of some of its car. this is with concern on the gas pedal and the carpet. The recall includes some of its top models like the RAV 4.
The move will said to affect sales of Toyota in the United States. The car maker is now in touch with the parts supplier for the problem.
Is your gas pedal ok? Are you experiencing any problem in your car?
Are you driving a Toyota?
Regards

I watched them talking about it on TV and I think they seemed to be shrugging off the problem telling customers that problems are rare and then explaining lightly that moving the car calmly to the side of the road when problems occur is a solution.

I don't have a Toyota, but I almost bought one before Toyota started recalling its vehicles. Almost every new Toyota model has this problem, and some have issues with the brake pedal as well. Scary!

My husband and I don't drive because we're both almost blind, but we do take a lot of taxis. Thankfully no new taxis have been purchased in our city since this recall proglram. A lot of our taxicabs are retired police cards, so there's really nothing for us to worry about.

Yep, I drive a 2009 Toyota, well within the range of the recall. I did get a notice when the gas pedal problem first surfaced that my truck might be recalled, but I drive a manual transmission Tacoma. The gas pedal is off the floor and does not come in contact with the mat. I have received no more notices.
And if I'm not mistaken, the last time I saw a list of recalled models, I don't remember seeing Tacomas on it. Tundras were though.
