A few weeks ago, Google threatened to pullout of China due to censorship issues. the pullout was expected to create an uproar among China's 384 million internet users. It seems that these users are unfazed by the pending exit of google. there has been more protest when the game War of warcraft was yanked last year. Chinese internet users are comfortable with their local social networking site, local video online site, etc. Baidu is a local substitute to google and very influencial outside Beijing. If that is the case, then google could pullout anytime. no ifs ,no but. Regards
