Hi Arlene! If I may ask, what kind of fruits do your give to your kids? Maybe at one time, you have given him a fruit that is sour, which eventually, he didn't want to take any foods anymore. I would suggest, you give fruits that are soft and sweet; and you might as well want it to give that with rice. You can give banana, orange, ripe mango. If you want, you can also have it in a blender, wherein you can add carrots. This is really a very delicious and nutritious way. But just don't add sugar in it, for it might cause the kid to have diabetes.

Most of the mothers face same problems. In a very attractive colorful bowl place assortment of fruits in different colors. She`ll get attracted and will definately eat.You can make a fruit custard or add fruits in a regular cup of icecream. In this way she will get what she needs.I have done same with my daughter ,the result was positive and she started to eat the fruits.

I usually give my 1,5 years old baby, banana, orange, manggo, grapes etc. she doesn't choose fruits. If your child is very choosy just ask her what fruits that she want to eat. or you can ask her to join you to the fruits market. let her choose. may be it can help you my friend.
