Finally going to see a Legacy Split? What should/will happen?

I personally thought the whole "Legacy" thing played itself out months ago; we had Kofi Kingston, a good wrestler and a decent mic guy, but one single face, and not a super imposing one at that, taking on a group of three heels, one of which is probably the top heel on RAW, Randy Orton, and getting pretty good results out of them. Without any solid backing, Kofi was super-over for a few weeks at the least.
But with the current events at RR, plus the impending 'Mania storylines beginning to unfold, starting hopefully with RAW tonight (with Bret Hart in the mix, too and title reigns), what is going to happen with Legacy. It would seem, as of now, that Randy Orton is out of the title picture (although with the way the booking has been lately that could surely change quickly) and that Legacy is "in the wind" so to speak.
What do we do with them? Should this be a slow break, a clean break, or do they bond together even closer? What do you want to see? What do you think will happen?
For me, there is only one option. Despite the cheering at the RR last night, Orton should still be the heel. If not, you are stuck with no viable top heel on the RAW roster. Jericho is gone to SD (essentially it seems to be set up with a date with Edge at WM26), and while The Miz is becoming a good mic heel, it would be him and Sheamus, maybe someone like Big Show, as your top heels. Not exactly powerful considering the presence of John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, all as top faces at this time.
Orton needs to remain heel; at this point, I think that if the WWE decides to split them up, Legacy will need one last push forward from Orton. I personally would love to see Legacy remain in tag-team action, with The Hart Dynasty, CM Punk/Gallows, Cryme Tyme (please push them, just once...), and this hybrid Big Show/Miz pairing, we could have some strength back in tag-team divisions (one of my sincere wishes). Let Orton get a partner, take Legacy on, let Legacy get the win by DQ, and move on. Orton can play up the heel once more, and Legacy can be a face tag-team.
What do you think will happen? Where do you see it going? What would you want to see?

Well, the Legacy split is long over do. Just do not, under any circumstances, turn Randy Orton face. Randy Orton was one of the worst babyfaces that I have seen in my entire time of watching wrestling in 2004-2005. He just comes across as so naturally hateable in his mannerisms. Orton is just one of those guys that you love to hate.
As for Rhodes and DiBiase, I think those two will stay as a tag team for a little while before they split. I think DiBiase will be a singles star within the next four or five years. Maybe even a Wrestlemania main event superstar, you just never know. As for Rhodes, well he'll be better off than Marty Jannetty was after the Rockers split. Still, for some reason, I just never saw Rhodes as someone who could stand on his own as a big time singles star. His father got all of the charisma in that family and his older brother got some of it too, providing he's dressed up in a gold bodysuit.

It seems that they are really going back and forth with the whole legacy thing. Just when you think they are going to split up they dont. I honestly thought this was going to happen months ago. I thought both Rhodes and Dibiase would leave Orton and become babyface especially Dibiase since he had that movie come out.
Orton definetly needs to stay heel. He is one of the best heels that thye have in the WWE right now and turning him face would kill his character. I could see Rhodes staying heel or turning face. Ted I really want to see him turn and start an actaul feud wiht Randy where they actually have a match while not still in Legacy. I could see both Ted and Cody still staying together as a tag team as well and have both of them feud with Randy or maybe we will even see a triple threat match. hey that could actually be pretty good.
In the end though Legacy does need to split. We have seen enough of and Orton bossing these to around.

I think the legacy will be broken.
Too boring to still see this part of the storyline. All the 3 have been together for one whole year! Just like most of the times in last year, Randy Orton was involved in a Championship match either against Cena or Trible H. And then WWE decided to bring up Sheamus in. To see something different. Enough is enough! Legacy should be splited very soon.

I agree with the fact that Orton needs to remain heel. I can never imagine him playing a face role, because he just doesn't have the look nor the personality.
I would like to see more of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase jr. (especially DiBiase jr.) in more independent roles to see how they shine by themselves, rather than joined at the hip like they currently are

I personally believe that Randy orton should stay heel. Like you mentioned wwe is lacking strong heels. His rivalry with Seamus I think will be short and Seamus will most likely flop to the mid card soon. Orton will typiccally remain in main event status however it is to early to determine how he fits into wrestlemania. Regarding Ted and Cody it is rumoured that Ted will turn face and get a push possibley starting a rivalry with Randy. It's to early to determine but legacy looks broken.

Randy orton should stay a heel that would be dumb having half the people baby face.
I am glad legacy is breaking up. They were so annoying interupting every match. THey would pop out of nowhere.
