A bad way is to bash someone or something that is generally well liked. Just start spouting off that PS3 sucks or that all XBOX users should drown in affluence. That'll start a debate that could take months to finish. It's mean and probably a bad way to start but for some reason it works. The best Idea is to start talking about something you enjoy, and then see if others enjoy the same thing. Another good way is to respond to each and every post that people make on your topic, that way people feel invlolved, and that you care. This will give more pluses and therfore more responses.

The secret to good Posts, and responses on myLot is "content!" Never post one-liners, because there is not enough content. Never respond with one line for the same reason. Content makes money for you on myLot. One-liners do not. Also try to be concise when you Post. One paragraph is sufficient and should include an introduction, content, and your question or other interest generating ideas.When I come upon a long rambling Post I pass right on by, on the other side. Before posting a discussion, use the search box above to check if the topic you want to post already exists. If it is, try to view in another angle of the topic to make it different. In that way, posting duplicate topic that might result to post deletion will be avoided. Try to make your discussion active by replying on the responses received and continue when they replied back, it makes the discussion more interesting because you know what is the real meaning of discussion which is to 'discuss', more users will be attracted to respond on your topic and aside from that, you can also earn from posting comments but it still depends on quality, same on posting a discussion and response, short posts will not be paid. Hi, i am agree with the above said statement and in addition to that i would say go for general topic or debatable topic where people have different thoughts, or go for usual working stuffs. Ask question to yourself and see is it relevant then post it here. I do the same thing. see me topics you will get an idea.

Some topics that spark debate gather good responses, too. You get comments from both sides. Remember to respond to each comment that you get.
