I know that I have cried over two pets my birdie name Future and my hamster named Hamtaro. I really miss them a lot. I wanted those to pets to make it to our new house that we have now, but it was to late for that. My hamster actually was one day away from it well no actually like a week. I have no clue how my bird died though she was perfectlt healthy. I think that my mom let her out and she hit her head or something. My hamster died of starvation because it was my brothers turn to take care of the hamster and I guess he forgot. I miss both my pets very much and have not had any other pets since then my brother and sister do, but I don't want another pet right now. It's sad when you get close to a pet and then they die it really hurts inside. My pets always used to make me happy when I came back from school. Now every time I come back from school I have no pets to be there when I get back. So has anybody else cried over a pet they lost or is it just me???

My cat who my family had for 8 years was killed by an animal (we don't know what it was but it ate her) today :( We found half of her (her front half) on the lawn when I got home from school. I've randomly started crying like every 15 minutes today, and it'll probably be like that for a couple days. It's ok the cry over a dear pet that you've lost, but sometimes you just have to accept that they're gone, but that they're still watching you from above and that they'll always be with you. Every animal has to die at some point, it's just the way of life, but you just have to know that they're in a good place.

yes me too. i have cried a lot in the past. i really dont like losing pets. that has someone made me a bit distant right now to our pets than before because i know that there will come a day that they will leave us so as much as possible, i dont want to get too attached to them. i know it's a bit weird but that's like my defense mechanism so i dont get hurt too much when they go..i am really touchy feely and i dont get over fast.. :(

Of course I cry.. When I had to put my dog too sleep after 16 years with him., i was devestated.. Pets become a part of the family, No matter what kind of animal it is. Its so weird when they are not there anymore. I still think about my dog. I have a different dog now and dread the day I have to go through that again. He is 8 years old

HI ANIME.. I DONT HaVE MUCH CARE ABOUT PETS THATS WHY if my pet will die i wont definitely cry over it. I would just have pitty on it. in the other way around i would be quite happy if my pet is lost because i dont have any more responsibility over it. i hope you dont get me wrong because i dont have much food to share with it.

Yes, I cried over the loss of a pet three years ago. I learned about it when I was in school. I was so upset that I told my mom to bury my pet cat. I can't bear to look at my pet like that, lifeless. It was such a painful experience, to lose a pet who brings so much joy in my life. It's normal to cry and grieve over the loss of a pet. That's because they give us psychological comfort that other human beings can't give.

I dont only cry,I want to die too.
mThat comes with the package, u get to love them ,only to have then in very short time only.
Before, when i lost my very first pet, i promised i wont have another pet again. After about 10 years i was brought into a situation where a dog has live in my house.
So the inevitable happened, i came to love the dog , only to lose him after two years.
I was crying for days ,until i felt that need to just look into a dog's eyes hoping i could see his eyes in them.So i went to the pet shop and bought a puppy. And it was there that healing became faster.
So i know now how to mend my heart faster when my pet has to leave me,ill just have to have another one that i can take care of,just like how i took care of him.
When a dog breaks your heart, have another dog, to help u recover faster, it worked on me, it will work on you. :)
