I currently have a laptop. To be honest, I cannot remember the last time I had a desktop computer. Besides, being at university, having a laptop is vital because of its portanility and versatility The model of my current laptop is HP. I have had it for three years now, and it's still working fine. A very reliable piece of kit, I must say

I have a laptop. It's an Acer Aspire 5315. It is just the basics, but I love it, and (knock on wood) I have not had any trouble with it.

I have both, a laptop and a desktop. The desktop computer is the slow one that we only use for windows-related activities. My laptop is a mac and many programs don't work on a mac, so I have to use the windows desktop computer. That's why we kept it. My mother also has a laptop and it has windows on it. My macbook has 4 gb of ram and it works really fast.

I have my third IBM Thinkpad used laptop. Before this, I had webtv. It was pretty slow and you couldn't go on any website that required java. Then, it started to get slower. Plus, at work we started using the internet alot which was DSL. So one day, with webtv I went on ebay and found onefor $305.00. It onlyt had a 4gb hard drive. I had that for about a year. Finally, it just wore out. I found another one on e-bay. It turned out to be the same model but it had 6gb hard drive. That went out. I took it to a computer repair shop. They said there was nothing they could do with it, it looked like it had just burned out. They had this one, which they sold to me $160.00.

I have a desktop which was costom built for me by my son in law. It has XP on it and I don't sur with it or, as it is just sitting there right now, not doing anything, however, I have the modem, router and printer connected to it. I have a Dell laptop, and I have only had it a few weeks. I don't dknow the configuration as I ama grndmother and I don't pay attention to things like that. All I know is, it is the best laptop I have ever owned, as I had a Compaq and a Gateway before this one. The Compaq broke and the Gateway went to the middle grndson. I use my laptop everyday as it is what I use to do all my sites, and surning as well. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I have one of the newer iMacs, 2007 or so. I had a Tosiba laptop before that, but always had problems with it freezing. I will admit, however, that I didn't have any virus protection, and never cleaned it. Although I do think this mac is slower then it should be with 2GB of Ram, I love how everything is set up; it just makes sense to me.
