why do you add a friend?

It's about networking. The more friends you make the more people out there who are likely to be exposed to your discussion.

I rarely add friends here. The last time I remember I add a friend because we were the same country.

I guess one thing about that is exposure of your post. There is a tab in the discussion tab that is called friends started. From there you can see other post that your friends posted. So your post would also be posted in your friends profile too.

Hi, Emediloy. I add friends to my 'friend-list' when I like what someone is posting and when someone sends me a request, then I approve the request. It's good to have a lot of friends here - adding more friends can helps you to take more responses on your discussions and in your pictures that you've uploaded.

I add a friend because someone request a friendship. I don't choose friend based on race, country, interest etc. everybody is welcome to be my friend. do you want to be my friend?

I add friends here, because i found something interesting in their profile, such as the person makes a great discussion, or makes a great answer for each discussion. I really want a real friend from that kind of person. Coz I think if we socialize with smart people, we can be smart too just like those people. But i rarely add people to be my friend. I just approve the people who add me. Well, I never refuse someone who add me here, I always welcome them. But im very picky if i want to add a new friend here. Am i strange?
