Hello people I wanted to ask for some help. For the first time in 24 years I got a tooth pulled. Now I'm Hungry, but I got this huge hole in my mouth, I did eat before they took my tooth, but now I cant eat the same things, so I was hoping that someone could shoot me a list of things I can a cant eat.

Ice Cream or Mashed Potatoes maybe some Soup. No straws though straws are bad for a pulled tooth.

why is that? because I kinda forgot and used a straw, but the tooth that got pulled is way in the back of my mouth. the last tooth, on the top row, on the right side.

If you drink from a straw you could break the blood clot protecting the hole and it makes a dry socket(a painful infection in the hole). Usually most people wont suck hard enough to break up the clot but I would not use a straw till you are done healing just in case.

thanks for explaining that, I really didnt know why they were telling me I couldnt use a straw. How many days does it take for a pulled tooth area to heal?

you can go for liquid and semi liquid foods like porridge and ice cream and such dont eat hard food cuz it will just make it worse and sometimes they o into the whole and that so uncomfortable and painful at time but since this post is 4 week old i think you do just fine hehe

Hi,
well... you can eat anything but as long as it soft. try not to push your mouth to work hard too much cuz it might make you bleeding some more. hope it helps
