Bermuda triangle - do you ever wonder what happens there?

And there are other such things that need explanations as well. For example some large geometic patterns coming up overnight on large farms (I wish somebody would give me the word for it - I am aging fast so I dont remember - I came across it while searching for something else). I think and I am just speculating - that Bermuda Triangle is the point which links us to the universe - so there must be considerable force - may be there is a that dense material of blackhole at the very core of earth as well and earth was formed by that small blackhole drawing all the debris in the vicinity to it! What do you think? I know this is boring discussion. I am ok with being labeled as a bore. he he.

Hi Vandana
hope u must be doing well and back to normal life.
Well, i think u r refering to UFO ( UnIdentified Flying Objects) as they seems as Alien visiting earth on their planes, Right
Regarding Bermuda Triangle, sure its mysterious place on face of earth, and some scientist says that this area has some high magnetic/attractying field which pull down every thing passes in it.
i am sure as u will explore more world, u will finf more mysterious things which you mind wont be able to comprehend, but later u might know about it
Take care

Ah so you are the alien! Chor ki daadhi mein tinka. LOL. No wonder you were doing your PhD on us. LOL. Yeah, take a shot at it. What do you think happens there? I mean magnetic force and all that - how much we know there should be tow poles, isn't it. Therefore, if it is magnetic force then there should be another spot out there either on land or sea that can cause similar problems! I think sometimes solutions are far simpler than where we let our minds wander. :) Thanks and you too take care. :)

Nah uh, it's anything BUT boring, LOL...
And you are not old. Young at heart, yes that you are.
I will be looking forward to what others have to say. I wonder too, as well as where do typhoons take all the animals like cows and wrecked houses too. The ones that are sucked in, that is in that big void substance.

Alright Aunt Vandana..that sounds more cool...
You have my respect there, for sure.
Actually, you are right. I wish people could research more, and especially youngsters like me, where do all these things go. There's an invisible line between the inquisitive minds of wanting to find out and the inquisitive minds of oh yeah, it is, and I'll just shut up about it.. I think there's an explanation to everything, but only God knows the real deal. Good topic you have here, Aunt V..

Zed, its time you called me aunty! Seriously! Whenever you say I am young, I feel 80+ LOL. I am ok with my age actually. :) And I would love it if you addressed me as aunty. :) Yeah, typhoons, all those animals, where do they go! Its not as if such animals land on our roofs after such an event! Likewise, pieces of missing ship and craft are not found! Where do they go! May be we will know more about it all if we study the behavior of plants and animals in the sea around the triangle! But I wish youngsters like you would have given a couple of links and come up with some idea what could possibly create such a phenomenon. Incidentally, such incidents are on wane. Possibly we have better equipments, and may be the force that drew such things in has also diminished.

Well up to this point in time no one really has a concrete answer to that mystery. From what I know the disappearances in that area has ceased already but not a single case was solved as there is no clear answer why they disappeared like that. I too like you can know the answer but it still is elusive to this day.
As for the crop formation I think there was a person that claimed to make that gigantic crop formations.

Just take a wild guess what it could be. :) I did that, didn't it? Nobody is going to come pouncing at us for our theories. LOL. So many incidences do make coincidence seem a bit easy way to brush it off. But then again, we are suckers for mysteries and horrors, be it the Towering Infernos, Aliens, and many other things including 2012. :) So it might be just that! May be we need to come up with statistics of other places in the world as well. :) It could also be that in those days the crafts were not advanced enough to navigate such place, and now we have better equipment. :) Who knows. :)

Hivandana,
Come on, this is not at all a boring discussion. Of course there is a point to ponder over as to why only the Earth that has the element to support life and not in other planet. Now since the universe3 is beyond our knowledge we can not deny as well if at all life does not exist any where. May not be just what we look like but there is every possibility of life some where in this vast universe.

Yeah, but the life as we recognize it! When you look at the periodic table under Carbon, we have Silicon, under Nitrogen, we have Phosphorus, and so on under Hydrogen, and oxygen. There can be so many permutations and combinations, the ones that dont exist on earth, but may exist elsewhere. I dont think any alien would consider coming here! We dont have adequate lifespan (I mean the earth) for them to spend so much effort! We, on the otherhand, genuinely need another planet to inhabit! The sooner we start, better off we are. Instead, we are wasting time fighting amongst ourselves!

Hi Vandana...not boring at all, really.
Yes, I wonder about the Bermuda Triangle and other such natural phenomena often. We are surrounded by many mysteries which even science cannot accurately explain. As far as the Triangle, I have no particular theory, except that yes, some great suction-type force must be at work in that area. Nature and the universe are endlessly fascinating!

Yeah, suction type of force has to be there. That is what I meant Karen. Because even aircrafts are drawn into it. :) So do you think it is some sort of large whirpool there? We should be able to spot it from satellite now, dont you think? Wish somebody had given some link. :(

Even scientists have no concrete explanation as yet, but yes, too many accidents and disappearences have happened there for it to be mere coincidence. I would think, like you, that something would show up on satellite!

I always wondering with many interesting mysterious places in this world. One of them is this Bermuda Triangle. I think this place is full with mysteries which perhaps will never be solved forever. We need to have brave people to solving this mystery, if any. But so far there are lots of opinions about this place. However, following the story of a mysterious place is very interesting and sometimes it can give us many inspirations. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Exactly, it is very intriguing. Isn't it? Yeah, many people are skeptical about it. :) May be it is just figment of our imagination. :) Some coincidences that we consider mysterious. :) I would love to be that brave, but who would be brave enough to drop me out there. LOL.

i'm sure someone's told you already - crop circles
i'm pretty sure I don't really believe in the Bermuda Triangle, but its fun to speculate - had a TV show back in the "day" that only had 10 episodes, but it was set on an "island" in the Bermuda Triangle

This triangle has intrigued me since my childhood. I remember the first time I saw photos of those patterns in the cornfields too, I read as much as I could baout those too.
There are often television programmes suggesting this or that but never to they get to the bottom of either of these mysteries... so we shall just keep on listening to all the theories until something can be proven.

I think we need these mysteries and thrive on the fact that they remain unresolved. When we are wondering about them it keeps us out of other mischief

In that case there are many questions like why do they only appear in cornfields? When do they land and why do we never ever see them? Best of all, is E.T. here somewhere?

Hi diana, I find such mysteries very fascinating, and I can spend ages thinking about what must have gone wrong there. :) But I am not intelligent enough to come up with anything extraordinary. Hope technological advances will help in solving these mysteries. :)

i dont know if i can explain this right.... i just cant recall the article ive read about bermuda triangle but the explanation goes a little something like this.. there is this too much oxygen element below that once triggered with other elements will create an incredible explosion. consider opening a bottle of softdrinks where you see those bubbles evaporate once the cap was opened. multiply that by 100 billion times, that is the kind of thing it will come out somewhere on that triangular area once triggered that anyone hit will surely disintegrate leaving not a single substance. but on the last part of the article it says that it was never witnessed thus leaving the article's credibility upon the readers evaluation.

I was looking for all types of reasons. :) This one seems a very plausible explanation. It is disintegration versus suction theories then. :) Both make sense. :) However, I am not convinced that disintegration can be to molecular or atomic form located only at one place. Should anything like that be - then even surroundings will be affected to an extent. In fact, force of that magnitude would be dissipating. The same reason I dont think suction theory also holds good, though I did mention it. :) Wish you'd given me some links as well. :) Have a good day. :)

this is how i think of bermuda triangle ~ it works opposite effect of "big bang theory" ~ bb theory is when all the energy exploded out and created universe, while the bermuda triangle is where it works like black hole, eveything is pulled into the hole
cheers

Hi sanjana - we think alike! As a matter of fact, I think the universe is a pulsating whatever the word be for it. The blackhole eats, and eats, and eats, and eventually the entire content lands in it. The pressure gets too much, and again there is a big bang, with a small blackhole beginning its engulfing activity. :) Its like a long keychain that you are circulating in one direction. :) Not very clear about physics of it, but I do feel that there is some link - invisible link between the core of the earth and the black hole like that keychain! Funny thoughts. he he.

gggrrrr...I am getting angry...not with you ,but with mylot or my internet which ever is giving me a problem...The thing is I typed a nice response to this discussion of yours and posted it and lo.......it has not registered......Looks like it has made a disappearance like the ships which are said to disappear when they reach Bermuda Triangle...!!..So you see dear....your discussion is not boring its just scarrryyy.....Even my response disappeared......!!!
And regarding the first part of your discussion I guess you are referring to the space ships which bring aliens to the earth. If you have not seen an alien as yet just take a look at Hrithik Roshans movie "Koi milgaya".....You will be able to meet an alien who sings and dances with the hero and heroine...ha..ha...in true filmy style....and it also had magical powers....Believe it or not,vandana...!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed that one. :) Actually, the person in first post mentioned that such crop designs were easy to do! :( I am a bit disappointed. :( I wish they'd remained a mystery. :) Hritik is much too lanky for my liking. LOL. I prefer the kids in ET. :)

My father is a modern day sailor or popularly known as a seaman. It's unavoidable for them not to cross the bermuda triangle from time to time. So far nothing bad had happened to them but they still are keen to guard their engines and instruments when crossing. Just a slight malfunction in the ship may leave them in big trouble.
I've seen some documentaries that the behavior of the current is responsible for the accidents in this area.

Hi Vandana,
I heard about that bermuda triangle, there is nothing strange in that but the ships & planes collpes due to the magnetic field which is created at that traingle area....... that's it LOL

Yeah, so what creates that magnetic field, and can we not recreate it in small measure in laboratories? That way we would be certain about what happened out there, or is likely to happen out there. :) Thanks for sharing your views javoblrbaba. :)

The mystery continues...
Recently on 28th December 2020, a boat with 20 people left Bimini in the Bahamas. It was supposed to arrive in the lake worth Florida on the 29th of December, but something went wrong. The boat travelled around the area and it went missing.
We are in 2021 now, the boat has not returned, the US coast guard searched at least 17 thousand square miles and it has now suspended the search. This incident has once again put the spotlight on the mystery of the Bermuda triangle.
What's up with this place? Who exactly do we blame for the disappearance? Sea aliens? Or an ancient curse?

Actually, vandana....to me, this is NOT a boring discussion! You have piqued my intrigue, once again. About 20 years ago, I read everything I could get my hands on, regarding the Bermuda Triangle...sadly, I seem to have forgotten most of what I read, but now "hyped" to re-visit the books as it is so interesting! I think what you are referring to is "crop art"...and just recently, I received a wonderful e-mail, with lots of unexplained pictures. It intrigues, me too! Sure hope that if you find a good link, you will share! Thanks for brightening my day! Cheers!

I think part of the intrigue of the Bermuda Triangle ...is that it refuses, defys us, regardless today's technologies, etc...to give up it's truth! Theories are just that...and have mostly been proven wrong!
Most of the pictures and documentaries that I have seen, regarding crop art, have been located in North America! I will be off to the library soon, as I also now wish to re-read the "Chariots of the Gods" novels to..as I think there is a connection. Take care and Cheers!

Hi yugasini, how are you doing. Well, black hole is something in the universe that sucks everything into it like vaccum cleaner. :) And it doesn't let anything escape it. A teaspoon of matter in blackhole would weigh as much as a loadful of truck. :) At least that is what I understand. :) so I was wondering, whatever be the basic characteristic of blackhole, all the panets have it at the core! And that core keeps attracting matter towards it. Including ships and aircrafts.

I don't really know if the Bermuda Triangle is a myth or legend. I have heard a long time ago that ships and airplanes have gotten lost and disappeared when travelling through the Bermuda Triangle area. But I haven't heard of any people disappearing more recently.

hi Aunty, why dont you come up with something related which are----- simple yet critical things can be easily answered---you go for all the Mysterious stuff and its very hard to convince your Older brain.I heard of the bermuda triangle in a cartoon named Tales Pin---where their huge planes just disappear once they enter the so called mysterious Triangle.I have seen a couple of case studies in our local channels though---they never concluded about the powers behind it and they left it to the anxiety of the viewers after an special focus for half-an-hour---some one like you would start investigating.I would keep up with the other responses so i get to know something new.great day.
