Congrats to Kobe on being the number one all time score in the laker franchise. Does this make him the greatest laker of all time? In my opinion magic johnson and jabar were two of the greatest lakers to ever live, but there have been many. Who are your top and what order?

I never like to gage a players spot in history until after they retire. With Kobe, I think he will have a good five years to gain ground on Magic. His body is falling apart right now, but he still haves a handful of amazing games per season it seems. He and Shaq will go down as being one of the most lethal tandems in the history of sports. It's scary, because Kobe wasn't at the top of his game when Shaq was there. He'll probably win one more title with Gasol as his big man before it's all said and done.

It's a magnificent achievement for Kobe Bryant and he showed such grace in his interview paying tribute to the Lakers greats like Jerry West and Magic Johnson who he hugely respects. I would put Kobe Bryant as the greatest Laker of all time followed by Magic Johnson, Jerry West and then Kareem Abdul Jabaar.
