Stronghold-strange room!

I was running around with my new orb of oculous, when I decided to look at strange patches. One of those patches was in the first level of the stronghold of security (barb vill). When you stand in the NW corner of the first floor, near the ladder, and look NW at that strange gray area, and pan as far as you can NW, there is a strange blue room!!! In the room, there is a claw holding a orb, and I did not see any portals or doorways, it does not show up on the minimal, what is this?????
