After Oscars it's time for Grammy Treat for A R Rahaman

Indian music maestro A.R Rahman has bagged two awards at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony.
The double Oscar winning composer was honoured for his compositions in Danny Boyle's rags-to-riches film 'Slumdog Millionaire', getting the awards for best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture and "Jai ho" being the best motion picture song. Rahman shares the Grammy with lyricist Gulzar who penned "Jai ho".
Rahaman Said "This is insane, god is great again,".While accepting the award."Jai ho" has been sung by Sukhvinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, Sukhvinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, and Rahman himself. This is the first Rahman has been nominated for a Grammy and he grabbed it.
Known for his musical versatility -- from romantic compositions to foot-tapping numbers, Rahman has innovated with different instruments and sounds to create some of sounds to create some of hits for nearly two decades.
Despite earlier international credits such as the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical 'Bombay Dreams', it is Rahman's 'Slumdog' that endeared him to Western critics.

Rahman sir deserves this and much more........rahman sir has accepted that slumdog is not his best score....and that itself is sufficient to beat everyone and make it to such awards......i think his old stuff is also going to be re released by universal music....i dont know how many awards they'll win...way to go rahmanji....jai ho

Yes that is true, the Osacara guys gave him Award for not his best score, then just imagine if they listen his some of the best creations like TAAL, ROJA, Rangde Basanti, Jodha Akbar, Rangeela, Bombay, Swadesh, Dil se...,Pukar, Lagaan,Sathiya,Jane tu ya jane na, Gajini, Yavaraj,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
