Why wasnt BeeGees involved for Grease 2 ,After giving some of the best songs of the century in Grease-1 ?

Are they even still alive? I know they aren't producing any new music. Is Andy Gibb still here with us? That movie is older than most of the people here in MyLot. I didn't even know there was a Grease2. I will, just like the first one, not be interested in seeing it. But The BeeGees haven't made any new music in forever.. I don't believe they will..
