I work in one of the leading IT firms of India and the work conditions, the pressures under which an IT guy works and the salary he gets makes me sad.
When the IT boom started these jobs were supposed to be one of the most lucrative and glamorous jobs but as the time has gone by things have changed.
The pay cheques have got smaller working hours have got longer and facilities provided for the employees have vanished.
Now what remains is jst an illusion that we work in a respectable job but the truth is that what we earn in day is nearly as much what a cabbie earns (some times even less)with double the stress.
And any change in near future looks impossible.

With the economy crisis, many enployees face these problems--the pressure, the condition, the salary all has changed .Sad, anxiety and other ill emotions is around them. They feel helpless, complain all the time and cannot see the future.I think it's common in the current society. The key point is that people should adjust their mental attitude. The life of many people even is worse than you, they are jobless. There is a proverb in china "Happiness is he who is contented with what he has"(????)? The idea is simple but it's hard to achieve.
